The recommended B&W 82mm UV filter blocks the Televid 82 lens hood. Is there an 82mm filter with frame that allows extension of the hood?
Thank you for the answer. I was aware of the Televid's own protective front element. However, should that be scratched or injured in some other way, cost and delay of repairs by Leica would likely be significant. I'm seeking a protective UV filter that, if damaged, could be replaced easily and at relatively low cost. Despite their own front element, Leica's instructions for the Televid recommend such a protective UV filter.
So I'm still seeking a filter with a rim thin enough to be cleared by the hood.

What adapter is needed to use the SL2 with this scope?
Image will have some vignetting when the SL/SL2/SL2-S camera is used, compared to use with TL2 or CL cameras as the TL2/CL both have APS-C sensors vs. the full frame sensors in the SL series. Attachment to eyepiece of APO-Televid Spotting Scope requires the combination of a B&H # LEDAT2T, Leica cat# 42335 T2 Digiscoping Adapter plus a B&H # LEDOLENS35MM Leica cat# 42308 Objective Lens.

question
Can this be used with a Nikon DSLR? I am using this with the M10 and finding it really difficult to focus with so am wondering if it is easier on an autofocus camera? Thanks!
You can use it with about any camera, but it will still require manual focus. The camera has no way to change the focus setting of the scope, so autofocus won't work. And yes, I do have one of these scopes.
