question

Can it be connected to android smartphone
Asked by: Anonymous
The Nikon WT-4a Wireless Transmitter is not designed for connection with smartphones or tablets. It is a professional device designed for connection to a wired LAN or Wi-Fi network to interface with a computer or an FTP server. If you set up an FTP server, you may use the FTP address to view the captured images on an Android device by entering the FTP address into your web browser, but there is no application designed to connect the Android device to the Nikon WT-4a Wireless Transmitter, and you would not be able to control the camera from the Android device.

question

will the Nikon WT-4a work with the ME-WI's?
Asked by: Patrick T.
Unfortunately no, the WT-4A serves for image file transmitting purposes only. The ME-W1 communicates directly to the camera not a wireless file transmitter.
