Dioptric Adjustment Lens EG (-4) for Select Canon EOS Cameras is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, I shoot without my glasses now! Expensive as Canon likes to make accessories. But work really well, no question. Does easily snap into place, and easy to remove if you want to use the regular eyecup (like if you let someone else shoot your camera). Provides proper correction for short sighted (myopic) as I am. My glasses are -3 correction but are a little weak so I chose the -4 correction here, and that's perfect. Remember you can still use the dioptric adjustment on your camera to fine tune + or -. Works great. Will get your fingerprints on, but easy to remove and clean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I can see the whole viewfinder For the first time since I've been using SLR cameras (40+ years) I can actually see the whole viewfinder at once instead of the 3/4 view I'm used to. I have a couple of old FD lenses that I mount using an adapter. I had difficulty focusing them, because I couldn't see through the viewfinder well enough to achieve a sharp focus. Once I mounted the adjustment lens, I was able to quickly achieve sharp focus with a minimum of effort. Now, I just have to remember to push my glasses up before I look through the viewfinder.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HUGE DIFFERENCE! Don't let your eyesight discourage using your camera's viewfinder. If you're nearsighted as I am this will solve your problem and give you back full use of your camera. I was starting to only use the LCD bypassing the viewfinder and that is limiting to say the least. Some have complained that it can slip out but that has not be my experience at all - but I treat my gear very carefully. Don't hesitate to improve your shooting experience with this simple and affordable improvement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The only choice if you are (-4) Used on a 5D Mark III and a 1Ds Mark III. The only choice if you are short sighted. Quality item which does not fog up easily and provide a clear view without glasses. An essential purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If you wear glasses... You owe it to yourself to get one of these. Makes the transition from the viewfinder to the preview screen great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally, I can see without glasses. It really makes all of the difference in the world. The trickiest part is moving my glasses to get a shot. I haven't figured out my routine yet. Take them off, put them on my head, put them behind my head. However, I know that having my vision correction closer to the lens makes a mile of difference. I have zero doubts whether I am spot on with my focus or not. Great quality as you would expect from canon accessories.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for the nearsighted. I was amazed how well I could see through the viewfinder with the addition of this Dioptric Adjustment. It makes manual focusing so much easier. I'm nearsighted and have a good bit of astigmatism.
