The LV58SER40 AES/EBU I/O Module from Leader is a module designed specifically for use with the LV5800 waveform monitor. It allows that device to monitor embedded or external audio. The module features (4) BNC connectors, which allow for a up to (8) pairs of audio channels to be input or output with the LV5800. Output audio with this module will be embedded with the selected input source, while input audio will strictly be monitored but not embedded into the SDI signal.

Leader LV58SER40 Overview

The LV58SER40 AES/EBU I/O Module from Leader is a module designed specifically for use with the LV5800 waveform monitor. It allows that device to monitor embedded or external audio. The module features (4) BNC connectors, which allow for a up to (8) pairs of audio channels to be input or output with the LV5800. Output audio with this module will be embedded with the selected input source, while input audio will strictly be monitored but not embedded into the SDI signal.

This module can be used in conjunction with other accessories, such as an extender card to output up to (16) channels of AES/EBU or a daughter card to decode Dolby E information. It is also possible to install up to (2) of these cards in a single LV5800 unit by using both input and output slots, however this configuration limits capacity of the cards to solely input or output function. This module can also be used to monitor audio cut-out and configured to trip an alarm to notify you when it occurs.
