8GB SDHC Memory Card Extreme Class 10 is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 1007.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast, High-Capacity, Reliable A few of these cards in your Pelican case, and you never have to worry again about adequate storage on an extended shoot. At a bare minimum (shooting NEF), this card stores 637 images from my Nikon DSLR. Lower my image requirements, and that number is in the thousands. Better yet, at a reasonable res & size, the card's fast transfer rate means my only multiple-shot speed limitation is the buffer of my camera. Your only concern MAY be that your computer's onboard reader can't handle the new high-capacity cards; but that is easily remedied with an inexpensive peripheral reader. This card is a great choice for any compatible camera.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 8GB Extreme III SDHC by SanDisk The card performs well, however my card quit working for me after less tham 3 months. The prongs on the card fell apart and I contacted SanDisk directly for a replacement and they said the problem was physical damage. I feel that for what I paid for the card they should stand behind it and replace it at no charge to me. I feel that you should be able to use a product not just leave it in the case and look at it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Camera and Other Supporting Hardware. Having never ordered from B&H before, there was apprehension on my part. I got better deals here on most every item than what local stores offered -- * included. I also got to talk with reps who were both pleasant and knowledgeable. My Nikon camera with extra lens kit came here just fine and in reasonable time. The Nikon box had a slight crease on one corner that got my initial concern, but the contents werel all in their protected packaging and unharmed. A Nikon flash, cards, card reader, camera support gear, and rechargeable batteries were ordered some what later -- all came through without delay and in pristine condition. Nice experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As good as they come. I ordered this card for my compact camera because I am planning a short trip and did not want to bring my laptop. This card gives me extra storage and makes it unlikely I will fill all my cards. What can you say about a memory card? It works as expected, it has the capacity advertised, the Micromate Reader works perfectly (are you aware that older card readers may not work with SDHC cards) and uploads to the computer are swift and perfect. I have not yet dropped the card in my coffee or sent it through the laundry so cannot comment about its survivability. SD cards are small and have to be handled carefully.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It really makes a difference! I bought this for my Canon SXi. I also have a standard 2GB Sandisk card. The camera is rated to be able to handle 6 continuous RAW shots before the buffer fills. With the 2GB card this is the case. With the 8GB Extreme III I was able to take 7 because by the time I took the sixth picture the buffer had already written an an image to the card. After taking seven pictures the camera took 11 seconds to completely empty the buffer onto the card. With the 2GB card it took 45 seconds to empty the six pictures to the card!!! 45 seconds!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME FAST LOVE this card! I purchased this card right here at B&H for my Panasonic Lumix FZ35 (which I also got here). It is INCREDIBLY FAST class 6 card! I also bought a generic class 6 card on that popular auction site to test the difference in speed. Holy Cow! the generic card card took 3-6 seconds to save a snapshot, while the Extreme III took 1 second or less to save the same snapshot. Also the USB / SDHC card transfer directly from the camera was LIGHTNING FAST as well, especially compared to the generic. SanDisk blows the competition away! When they go back on sale or instant rebate, I will probably buy another one. Just awesome!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid SD Memory ... Works great with the D7000 for basic shooting and holds a good number of shots at highest RAW quality. My files are about 25MBs each. I will be using this as the over flow and some 1080P HD Video but plan on getting the 45mb/s San Disk Extreme SD card for maximum frames per second to practically avoid buffering on the D7000. Also many budget brands determine their Class by read speed and not write speed. SD Extreme classifications seem to match the write speed. I bought this as it's a great price, I plan purchasing faster and higher capacity SD Extreme cards in 30mb/s or 45mb/s as soon as I can. The 20mb/s cards are fine for the price though!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from No surprises. Just fast, as advertised. I use the card with my 2 cameras, a Nikon D40 and a Panasonic Point-and-Shoot with HD Video. I also own a Transcend 16GB Class 10 SDHC card. While I never had any problems taking pictures, my camera would randomly stop recording with the Transcend card. That's why I bought the SanDisk extreme and have had no problems with HD videos ever ever since. I give it 4 stars because it's much more expensive than the Transcend counterpart. In fact, I paid about the same amount for the Transcend 16GB as I paid for the SanDisk 8GB. But after all, you just need the performance for HD videos. And the SanDisk card masters this job very well and solid.
