Enhance the quality of light coming from your on-camera flash with the OM-C Omni-Bounce Diffuser from Sto-Fen. Designed for select flashes, this diffuser slides onto the flash head and will diffuse the light output, producing softer shadows and a more natural glow rather than the harsher effect created when using a direct flash. The diffuser also helps to provide even coverage across the entire frame which is especially useful for wide-angle shooting

OM-C Omni-Bounce Diffuser is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 44.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from A favorite of working professionals! Over the years there have been a variety of on-camera flash light modifiers and most of them are ridiculously over-priced and awkward. The Omni-Bounce works on a simple principle and works nicely.... Photojournalists count on them because you can move quickly and know that it stays attached to your flash. I have one on every flash that I own and actually just bought a new flash from B&H. I checked to make sure they had a Sto-Fen Omni-Bounce to fit before placing the order. Light Modifiers get more expensive but the results don't get better!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy improvement It's so easy to just snap on this diffuser and get better, softer light with less hotspots and reflections.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sto-Fen Bounce This fits over the flash head and allows for a much softer light when shooting portraits, kids, or a large group. However, I purchased this for use on an Olympus FL50R flash unit. It is unnecessary to purchase this for that unit. If you buy another manufacturer flash such as the Metz or Canon or whatever it is a great addition. Olympus supplies this with the FL50R. I did not realize it was technically the same idea...their omni bounce fits the unit better and snaps into place. The Sto-Fen slides over the flash head to secure it in place. It does a great job as well. The main difference is the configuration. It is easier to use the Olympus version even when shooting straight on (90 deg). I do not recommend using the Sto-Fen for direct flash.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Useful and Simple On-Camera Unit The Sto-fen OM-C Omni-Bounce is an effective, simple, and inexpensive adapter for on-camera flash units. It provides some light diffusion over direct flash, and also warms the color temperature - good for event photography. The unit is most effective with the flash head angled upward at about 45 degrees, but this assumes the photographer is working in an area with a relatively low, white ceiling. This will allow the flash to directly illuminate the subject, as well as provide a level of fill light - an improvement over direct flash alone. So, if you are working in a very large space, or outside, the unit will not be of much help over direct flash. In this case you could aim your flash head directly at the subject and take advantage of some light diffusion. One downside of the OM-C Omni-Bounce is that you will see a hit taken to the output of your flash unit - about 2.5 stops typically. You will go thru batteries much faster.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Bounce Substitute If you don't have any ceilings or walls to bounce your flash, this little device helps to do just that. Serves its purpose outdoors for fill flash as well. Fits very snug onto my Sigma 530 DG Super... although initially very difficult to put on, I guess I don't have to worry about if falling off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works perfect! I have this on my Sigma EF-530 DG Super and it works perfect. It was a little tough to get on the lens the first time, but once you follow the directions and stretch it a little from the sides, it goes on easier. I haven't taken any shots without this thing since I got it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty Good This is a nice product. I prefer to bounce my flash, but when I can't bounce the flash (eg. outdoors or indoors with high ceilings), this works very well. It is kind of pricey, but it is well built and fit my Metz 54MZ4 flash nicely.
