A triad of compact, powerful lights forms the core of the Arri 650W Fresnel Compact 3-Light Kit. The 650W Fresnel produces a smooth, even field of light--it features a beam angle in the flood position of 52°, and a narrow 14.5° in the spot position. To complete the set, there are 4-leaf barndoor sets and scrims to control the shape and intensity of each fixture, and 8' light stands. All the components pack easily into the included, heavy-duty hard-shell wheeled case for storage and transport.
This kit is supplied for use with 120 Volt AC current. It may be adapted for use with 230 voltage, with the appropriate bulbs and plug adapters (available separately).
Large Lens
Each fixture has a 4.3" (110 mm) low expansion, borosilicate Fresnel lens

Awesome KitI chose this Kit because I always have problems traveling with Lights. So, this is the best combination for who wants good lights and no problems with airline companies.

All Around Great KitI use this kit for both photography and video. I have owned a number of other kits that have broken down over time or failed to meet expectations. These lights are in another league compared to what i owned before. If they last as long as i expect them to, then i will be completely satsified. I also think the case is perfect. Just pay attention to how things are aligned when you first open it, and you should have no problem repacking it.

Worth the price! Arri lights keep valueLot of fire power in a small yet easy to move case. The Arri 650 is an industry work horse. Kit is complete! Even the lamps are included. Case is a little tight. Difficult to get everything in and close the top.

Top quality lightsThese lights are industry standard quality in both light output and construction quality. We've used them in everything from corporate videos to narrative films. The only drawback is that even though it is a small kit, these lights are not lightweight and not easily transportable.

Great Lights - AlmostI use these lights for location photography and am highly impressed, almost. I'm probably not supposed to do so, but I'm going to compare these to my other lights, specifically Lowel Focus-Floods. Pros: 1. The quality of light of these Arris are wonderful. Near-even light from center to shadow at both spot and flood. Simply beautiful 2. The barndoors are solid/sturdy and you don't have to fool with the hinges to get it just right like the Lowels. 3. Well-built from the housing to the wires. One design element that would be nice is to be able to manipulate the light with a handle. Having to use gloves or the focus knob is a pain. 4. The little wire holder rope is perfect and shows attention to detail some other manufacturers don't have. Cons: 1. Having to pay $60 extra for wheels on the case is kind of ridiculous and makes the company look money-hungry. 2. My biggest gripe, the lightstands: They seem very flimsy, especially at full extension. They are only rated 2lbs over the weight of the light. The base is much smaller than a Lowel KS stand, which is shipped with the DPs. I just get the sense of extreme top-heaviness of these stands and won't dare place them on anything but level ground unless they are at minimun extension. Just like knowing is half the battle, lightstands are half the light. It honestly went from being a 5-star setup to 3 for me, because when I'm working on location, I don't want to have half my mind on whether my equipment will fail or not. Someone please set my fears straight here.

Awsome kit !!I use these at wedding receptions and for interviews. Pair them up with some dimmers and your good to go. Only reason im givig these 4 stars is becuase of the dinky case. Dont get me wrong, it gets the job done but for the price point you pay for these lights you think you would get something more solid. But great lights none the less.

Great kit(Almost) all-purpose lights for smaller sets and portable shooting. More even, flattering light than cheaper brands. Sturdy construction. Only problem with my set are the bulb sockets inside the fixtures, whose ceramic and metal elements were not perfectly aligned and thus required a lot of work to get the bulbs in fully.

Great kitPretty solid lighting kit for videography. Carrying case and stands are durable. I'd like for them to add a softbox and speedring for the price your paying, that would make it 5 stars. High heat, be careful when handling and using with other appropriate accessories.
