Sony ICD-P520 Overview

The DEMO ICD-P520 Digital Voice Recorder from Sony is an easy-to-use, effective digital recorder that is ideal for students, businesspeople, reporters or anyone else who frequently makes personal notes, conducts interviews or needs to quickly record audio. The recorder features a USB interface to allow you to download and archive your recordings to a computer.

The player features 256 MB of built-in flash memory, a large LCD, voice operated recording, multiple recording formats and a compact design. The recorder is powered by 2 AAA batteries and can hold up to 130 hours of audio in LP mode. It features both a headphone jack and external microphone jack. This digital audio recorder will allow you to stop fumbling with microcassette tapes when recording, making it an excellent choice for anyone who uses a voice recorder.

256MB Built-In Flash Memory
You can store up to 130 hours of recorded audio on the included 256MB of high capacity flash memory. Unlike tape, flash memory can be recorded on over and over again without loss of quality.
Multiple Recording Modes
The voice recorder features three recording quality modes. LP will give you a full 32 hours of recorded audio, SP will let you record 19.5 hours at higher quality and HQ will record 7.25 hours of audio at the highest quality.
USB Interface and Software Compatibility
The recorder features a USB interface that allows you to download your voice recordings to a computer. The recorder is also fully compatible with the popular Dragon NaturallySpeaking Preferred Voice to Print Software which allows you to convert your speech into text, letting you give virtual dictation to your computer.
Ease of Use
The player features 4 folders to organize your recordings, an ergonomic design and the ability to add notes to individual recordings, making this recorder simple to use and versatile in function.
Voice Activation
Voice-activated recording saves battery life by automatically ceasing to record during pauses and starting again without missing a beat.
