Easy Cut Trimmer 2 - 17.7" (45cm) Cut Length is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Inexpensive, well made, perfect cuts My old studio used to have a $250+ Rotatrim. It was great but expensive. It saw a lot of use so for its price it was a good value. I recently bought an Epson 3800 for home and needed a trimmer for my photos. I found this and figured I'd give it a try. It is well made and the see-through plastic holder does a good job of holding your photo in place while you cut without hurting the photo. I have only used it to cut single pieces of Epson Five Star Luster and Matte paper. It does every bit as good a job as the Rotatrim. The main black part with all the markings is metal while the two black end pieces are made of molded plastic. It's perfect for home but in a high use environment if may wear quickly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Trimmer I bought this trimmer to trim 13 x 19 photo paper so that I could mount it on 16 x 20 foamboard. It works wonderfully well for this purpose. It is easy to square up the paper, and it produces a very clean cut. It is not very wide, probably 6 inches, so it stores easily and is lightweight for easy handling. The guide is easy to see through and is not so wide that it obstructs use. I haven't tried it on anything but 75 lb. photo paper. It works great for its intended use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from cheap and cheerful After getting a bigger printer I needed a bigger cutter. I am still using a smaller similar cutter made by Kaiser as well which I purchased in the late '70s!! So, what else to say? It is definitely not made for daily high throughput. If you need a cutter for intense daily application then look somewhere else. But for home use I can recommend this unit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Trimmer - Metric Markings This trimmer is great for cutting up photo paper. I've used it on paper up to 18 mil and it cuts straight and fast. It's marked in metric units, so if you think in inches, you may need to convert.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I wanted for printer I needed cutter to use with my Epson 4880 17 wide printer when I was using roll paper or canvas. This Kaiser 17.7 trimmer fits perfectly to separate pictures printed in continual sequence. I opened box and started to use this device right away, and I could not understand how did I do my stuff before without it. Thick matte paper gets easily under cutter's pressure bar. Trimmer makes perfect straight cut 90 degrees to roll's edge so printer afterwards does not have difficulties to find beginning of the roll to make new print. Before, when I was using scissors, printer would run paper far ahead before finding starting point for printing. Trimming smaller images was also very easy task. Paper is getting cut when you move cutting head at any direction. You don't need to return it to particular position to make a cut.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceeded expectations I was worried about using this with 13x19 photos but it works seamlessly. What I didn't expect was the great design making it simple to very quickly trip all 4 sides to a photo. It has made it much more fun to trim photos and pin them to my wall--especially the ones that are just smaller test runs before I print larger. Very sharp, very small relative to waht it can accomplish.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Trim Your Photo's I got this trimmer in order to cut 13 wide roll paper for the new Epson wide format printer I bought. in order to print some 13 x 36 panorama photos I stitched together in Photoshop. This does a great job and is an excellent value if you need a trimmer for occasional use and not for continuous cutting, like in a frame shop.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very precise This thing holds epson premium glossy photo paper snugly and cuts with ease and the cut is perfect. Never had one of these, if I had known what a perfect cut could be made so quick and easy I would have had one 20 years ago.
