    Crucial CT12864AA800 reviews

1GB DIMM Memory for Desktop is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 174.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy upgrade Installed 2 GB RAM in an HP Compaq dc7600 refurb. Installation was simple sticks went right in. Performance has been as advertised. XP PRO recognized 3.0 GB RAM total although I now have 4 G installed (an expected result). Good product. Excellent upgrade for a reasonable price. Noticeable improvement in application performance (execution speed). The HP branding also provides an added confidence.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Error free, low power, and low cost Use for processing large photos (from raw files). Extra memory enables quick reviewing of files and also enables many edit levels without accessing virtual memory (disk). The great thing was the low power drain because of the 128 x 64MB density that only puts 8 rather small memory chips on a 1GB module with no heat spreaders. Low cost was nice too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thanks Micron/Crucial For many good reasons, I've never built a system that didn't use crucial memory... Great website with a very good memory selection function... Good, live-person, customer support. ...Fast order processing (order status and shipping notifications, tracking)....Rock solid performance and reliability... As a note I have never really purchased the fastest timings as I am primarily interested in rock solid stability; however, given my experience with Crucial's "semi-enthusiast" modules, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Crucial's full blown performance memory modules; but, don't take my word for it, lots of geeky websites have posted their say on this company's memory products....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked in older Dells (2005/2006) My old Dell Dimension 5150/E510 Desktop (purchased in early 2006) had 1GB out of the original 2GB just recently fail, so I decided to purchase 4x1GB of these modules. Although this model isn't listed specifically as compatible with my desktop/motherboard model via Crucial's memory matching app, when I looked at the Dell website they were selling memory modules with similar specs as this one at much greater cost. So I took a chance, and found the Crucial memory backwards compatible with my system. My computer's lifespan and performance has been extended with this cheap upgrade, and I highly recommend this easy upgrade if one would like to squeeze some more life out of an older system.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from unknown I have not installed this product as of yet. I tried to return the product but did not receive a RMA number. I was told to keep the product and the charge will be returned to my card. I'm waiting to check my card statement and or request another RMA number.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value I use my desktop mostly as a print server. I was surprised that the Windows 10 upgrade app said that the computer was compatible. I had issues with the Windows 10 upgrade and had to reload the OS from the original system disk, then upgrade to Windows 7. Before I was willing to try the Windows 10 upgrade again, I researched whether I had all the RAM that was supported, and found that more could be added. After the RAM upgrade, there were still hiccups with the Windows 10 upgrade, but nothing like the show stopper I had before.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 4 GB RAM for Dell Inspiron, Easy to do I upgraded OS from Vista to Windows7. I had 1 GB RAM and I needed more RAM and 4GB is max for Windows7. Very easy to remove old RAM and replace with 4 RAM. Any novice can fix, the extra slots were already on the motherboard.
