The Manfrotto Ezybox Hot Shoe Softbox is designed to fit most manufacturers' hot shoe, tilt-head flashes. It has a 24 x 24" front face, and its depth is sufficient to provide real softening of the flash. It assembles easily in minutes. Add a tilt-bracket of your choice for more aiming control.

A Must For Head Shots
Primarily a high school sports action photographer (hobbyist), and an enthusiastic amateur, I figured I'd try taking some headshots, and bought this Softbox Kit. Using my Canon 430 EX II flash and pocket wizard (which fit fine, although sideways, through the mounting bracket), I brought my tools to the office of my real job, letting my co-workers know that I'd be glad to take new business pictures for them. About 20 took me up on the offer, and everyone was happy with the results. I really like the softness of the pictures. Here are two examples.
Wondering about durability
On the good side: this is easy to setup, generally has better construction than many light modifiers I have worked with, is reasonably portable, and produces a pleasing effect. My only reservation about it is that the entire box is supported by friction between the flexi-hoops that give the panels their shape and a plastic lollipop. It is not terribly rigid (making it hard to position precisely) and I wonder how long it will last. When trying to position it at an angle in the vertical plane I feel as though it could easily pop off. Only time will really tell.
Great for Wedding Receptins
Great for shooting in dark reception halls!
Amazing construction - 100% durable
Great piece of equipment. Must-have.
It really is EZ!
Like others have said, this box is easy to set up,perfect for location or studio work and produces a great quality of light. Even easier to set up with a Bowens S mount speedlight bracket that you may already have or you can pick up for around 20 dollars. Fits just like the included bracket and mounts your flash in seconds. The same bracket can be used for a variety of modifiers including umbrellas. You're welcome
Provides great soft light
I like to use this for when I take environmental portraits in the field. It is pretty portable as it folds flat and can easily be put together in few minutes which is nice if you're in a time crunch. The double diffusion produces really soft light that mimics window light. This is nice as windows aren't always an option but you can recreate that look with this light. If you want a little harsher or more pop just remove the baffles. My only complaint is that by design it only allows you to use one Speedlight limiting your ability to overpower the sun. Although it folds flat it is too big to fit into my backpack which is a negative.
