The Fujifilm FinePix F100fd Digital Camera offers users an ultra-compact digital camera that takes beautiful shots with the most advanced features and technology available - missing great shots is no longer an option. With the addition of Dual Image Stabilization, Face Detection 3.0 Technology with Automatic Red Eye Removal function, and ISO settings of up to ISO 12800 (3MB or smaller image), the F100fd takes compact digital cameras to the next level, arming users with a host of features and enabling them to take pictures never before possible.

The beautiful slim-line outer-shell is less than 24mm deep, making the camera extremely pocketable, with a design that reflects the sophisticated technology within. The enhanced 2.7" LCD screen incorporates Fujifilm's wide view filter thereby expanding the viewing angle by as much as 25 degrees compared to earlier models. The intuitive Graphical User Interface (GUI) system provides pop-up prompts to guide you through the menu, and makes the camera incredibly easy to use.

The FinePix F100fd also features a number of convenience features such as a dual memory card slot (which accepts the xD-Picture Card and the popular Secure Digital (SD) card format), a Dual Shot mode that takes two pictures with one press of the shutter button, and a total of 19 special scene position making the camera ideally suited to any photo opportunity. Furthermore, when a still image isn't sufficient, the camera's movie mode, captures movie clips with sound that are of broadcast quality.

12.0 Megapixel 1/1.6" Super CCD HR
The Finepix F100fd incorporates Fujifilm's 8th Generation Super CCD HR image sensor (featuring an octagonal pixel design), that allows you to capture superb highlights and shadow detail. The latest Super CCD is larger with a size of 1/1.6" and delivers exceptional image quality, accurate details, smooth and attractive skin tones, and true to life colors.
Fujinon 5x Wide Angle Zoom Lens
The 5x Wide Angle optical zoom aspherical Fujinon lens system incorporated into the FinePix F100fd provides high quality images with a focal length equivalent to 28 - 140mm. The wide angle capability of the lens makes capturing landscapes, architecture, or family and friends in big groups easier to fit into the frame, while the other end of this versatile zoom, brings your subject closer and clearer. The camera also has an 8.2x digital zoom that lets you get even closer with a combined zoom of over 40x.
RP (Real Photo) Processor III
The Double Noise Reduction System that is built into the RP Processor III accurately and thoroughly separates and eliminates noise from your images, and features advanced image processing technologies to create images with smooth color transitions and extended dynamic range for the best possible picture quality.
Dual Image Stabilization
The FinePix F100fd gives you the best of both worlds where image stabilization is concerned. With industry standard mechanical image stabilization, the photographer's hand is steadied for a clearer, blur free shot. Add to that the addition of Fujifilm's Picture Stabilization Technology, and increased clarity and sharpness is achieved, even in low light conditions or when shooting moving subjects. The combination of the two is the ultimate in stabilization technology.
High ISO Sensitivity
The FinePix F100fd and it's Super CCD HR provide incredible light sensitivity while maintaining low image noise and accurate color with up to ISO 3200 available at full resolution. Additionally the camera can provide astounding sensitivity capability at lower resolutions with up to ISO 6400 and ISO 12800 available at 3MP resolution. Now you can take natural light pictures under conditions where even human vision may have difficulty discerning the details.
Face Detection 3.0 with Automatic Red-Eye Removal
Face Detection 3.0 advances Face Detection technology to another level. By combining advanced Face Detection with advanced processing capabilities, Face Detection 3.0 delivers better recognition of faces, even at angles never able to be detected by previous systems. Additionally, Face Detection 3.0 allows for other useful features to be added such as Automatic Red-Eye Removal.
