Enhance the quality of light coming from your on-camera flash with the OM-MZ80 Omni-Bounce Diffuser from Sto-Fen. Designed for select flashes, this diffuser slides onto the flash head and will diffuse the light output, producing softer shadows and a more natural glow rather than the harsher effect created when using a direct flash. The diffuser also helps to provide even coverage across the entire frame which is especially useful for wide-angle shooting

OM-MZ80 Omni-Bounce Diffuser is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 31.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not all that happy. Unlike my Sto-Fen for the Metz AF 54 MZ-4, this one does not seem to fit well on the 58. It's a bit of a struggle to get it on straight for some reason. In fact, the version for the 54 fits a bit more easily on the 58 than the 58-specific version. Once on, all is good. I generally prefer the Mila-Grid but I use the Sto-Fen when I don't want to muck around with digging the larger unit out and mounting it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Did not think i needed it. i always tot i could manage to use a flash without buying additional diffuser. but this prove me wrong. it evens out the lights making it fall nicely on the subjects. use on Metz 50 AF-1 Pentax. Fits Nicely.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the money for better photo's Have only used the build in diffuser that came with my Metz flash. Found that this works much better. I am happy I purchased it. At such a small investment it can make a big improvement to your photo's.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent with Metz 52 flash Softens light direct or bounce . Works really well, fits nice and so easy to transport. Was using a large velcro on hood scoop and was hard to carry in my bag, this is so much easier and works as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits and works fine on Metz 58 The flash face of the Metz 58 AF-2 is not rectangular so the Omni-Bounce only fits one way. Perhaps this is why other reviewers had difficulty with the fit. The instructions say install the narrow width towards the top of the flash head. An easier way to distinguish the difference is install it with the embossed lettering (i.e. Sto Fen) right side up. Once installed, the fit seemed snug and secure. The result is similar, but slightly better than using the pull-out white card with the secondary flash. For my preference, the 58 AF-2 secondary flash is too bright, even at 1/4 power when combined with the pull-out white bounce card and subjects within 10 feet (about 3 Meters) away. I use the Sto-fen without the secondary flash. The result is a bounce look, with some fill in the eyes and under the chin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Useful Fits with my Metz 50 AF-1. A bit tight but no problem

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fits fine on the Metz 44 AF-1. Since the Metz 44 AF-1 did not come with a diffuser, I had to pick one up. This model fits on very nicely and helps to soften and distribute the light as it was intended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple & works great I bought this for my Metz 50 AF-1 and sure it is snug but it should be. I don't want this thing to fall off. It also covers the top of the flash enough that it will not pop-off easily. You have to firmly (but not too firmly) pull on it to get it off. The built in diffuser for the 50 AF-1 was meant for wide angle shots and I just think this bounce diffuse is a better all-purpose diffuser than the built in one.
