    Pictorico PICT35002 reviews

Pictorico Pro Hi-Gloss White Film for Inkjet Printing (13 x 19", Super-B) is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Always perfect quality I use this film to make large digital negatives which are contact-printed in the darkroom. In 3 years of using Pictorico Pro and making hundreds of negatives, this white glossy film has never failed me. I use Matte ink in my Epson 3800, and the coverage is smooth and even. The quality of Pictorico Pro is perfect every time. A beautiful white film ideal for creating silver-based fiber prints in the darkroom. (The paper I am using in the darkroom is Ilford Multigrade FB Glossy Classic, which is similar to the beloved Agfa Brovira of the 1970s.)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for Color I printed a full color, wide gamut color image using Prophoto RGB color space with excellent contrast, detail and vibrance. I will use this film for future prints on similar rich color images, since it shows great depth in the color and great range. I did not find it useful for grayscale images, since I could not get it to hold middle grays. That may have been my fault, however. It is also pricey, so I gave it 4 stars mostly because I believe the price could be more reasonable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Expensive But Worth It! Epson 1400 and Claria ink (also compatible w/pigment). Exhibit regularly in Juried Shows. Bit the Bullet and finally tried this premium priced product and am extremely satisfied with the results. Minimum dry time and negligible metamarism failure enable quicker and more accurate print evaluation. Similar to Ilfochrome w/o metallic bronzing. Unable to find reliable longevity info but Image Presence is current priority.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CibaChrome, SchmiebaChrome. A lot of people compare this to CibaChrome from way back when. This film puts Ciba to shame, no chemicals, no darkroom work, easy to profile and crazy sharpness with totally delusional high gloss. If you want high gloss and the best paper to show your portfolio off with, this is it! Been using it for years now and nothing, I mean nothing even comes close.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cibachrome Look in a Digital Age This paper will give you the closest thing to the feel and appearance of the great old Cibachrome prints that we used to make from chrome originals in the age of film. You will need to do a lot of test prints, as ICC profiles are not available. Aside from that inconvenience, once you become accustomed to it, you'll get breathtaking results.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from High gloss is great, media (film) not so The high gloss is great for me, but the film (media) is to thin. I believe the high- gloss photo paper product is the better choice...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pictorico Pro Hi-Gloss White Film for In Maybe it's my Epson 1400 printer but the only photopaper it likes is the high gloss Pictorico paper. Looks like a mirror.
