Would 2 or 3 of these fit inside a Manfrotto LBAG110 bag? Thanks!
Asked by: Tommaso
Unfortunately, the Manfrotto LBAG110 Quick Stack Light Stand Bag, (Large) is too short to fit 2 or 3 of the Manfrotto 420B Combi Boom Stand (Black), but you can get three in this Phottix PH92518 Gear Bag (47", Black), B&H # PH92518. https://bhpho.to/3HDJPSs

I want to use this as a boom stand for ...

I want to use this as a boom stand for shotgunning my Rode NTG3. I already have a boom pole. My question is, if I buy this package, can I successfully mount the boom pole I already have to this stand? Or is that adapter locked into that boom pole that comes with it? And does that mean there is no cushion for the circumference of other boom poles to fit? And how necessary is the sandbag to balance the weight? Because my other boom pole would make it difficult to use the bag that comes with this deal.
Asked by: Cole
The boom on this stand is a fixed part, it can not be swapped. The need for the counter weight is dependent on the item on the boom and the length of the extension.
