    Canon LP-E5 reviews

    LP-E5 Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery Pack (7.4V, 1080mAh) is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 303.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Affordable back-up battery I decided to buy a spare battery for my Canon Rebel xsi. This is the same one that the camera comes with when you first purchase it. My first battery seems to be performing just as well as it did when I got the camera and battery 3 years ago, so I trust that my new battery will be the same. I decided to buy a second one simply for back-up. The battery charges quickly and holds a charge for what seems like a long time. With everyday use of my camera, the battery holds a charge for a week or longer. Having a spare battery allows me to not stop in the middle of shooting to wait for my battery to charge.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's a battery! Seriously, it's a battery. So far, it's worked as it should. I bought this one as a backup, and as my second battery when I eventually buy a battery grip. It charges and holds a charge. I charged it just before my family's recent weekend at Disney World and used the same battery all weekend (my original battery was charged and waiting in my camera bag). I shot about 300 pictures over the weekend. Of those, 7 were shot in JPEG, the rest were shot in RAW. After the weekend, my camera was still showing a full charge. Since we returned from our weekend vacation, I have shot another 180 pictures, all in RAW, all on the same battery, and it's still showing a full charge. So, I've got no complaints.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product For Canon Camera It's great to have back-up. Bought this one to add to new battery grip. They hold a charge for a very long time. Still have the original that came with my T1i and it is just as good as it was 4 yrs ago.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Battery life Im a Free lance photographer attending RMSP for schooling in photography, so far ive experienced long batterly life I have three and after almost two weeks im at half on the first one. Given the camera I use does not do video (canon rebel xs) and is also older so I wouldnt expect it to drain them very fast anyway. The size of the batteries is amazing cause they fit anywhere so very nice!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from reliable performance I use it in my rebel Ti1 camera from canon. I have 3 of those. One battery lasts for abut 600 pictures (if flash is not used) or about two days of vacation ;) recharging takes about 2 to 4 hours. I personally prefer batteries from the original manufacturer of the product the battery is used for. I came to that conclusion after I bought cheap no-name batteries for other cameras I own.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great life span All that really matters to me in a camera battery is life span, and this has the longest life span of any battery it's size that I have ever used. Super! However, expect significant life loss when shooting in cold weather, but that's true of all batteries. I did notice that after heating up this battery with my body heat after it died I was able to use it again for a while.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nothing but the best will do I have 2 batteries, one a Canon original that came with the camera I purchased and 2nd off-brand I purchased as a backup. After 4 years the Canon battery is still going strong. The off-brand swelled so now it doesn't fit in the camera's battery compartment. I just replaced it with a Canon battery. Spent a little more but know it will out last all the other brands.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Increased Shooting This is the second battery I own. I got this once I got the battery grip accessory and ever since I have not charged either battery and that's after shooting hundreds of shots over a couple of a weeks. It's still full when I turn on the camera no less! If you're ever looking for another battery, especially after you own a battery grip, this will not disappoint.
