Profoto Zoom Reflector 2 Overview

The Profoto Zoom Reflector 2 is a smoother, more accurate reflector, with an integrated grid holder that accepts Profoto grids directly -- no more need for the expensive extra grid holder.

The light from the new reflector is smoother yet more precise; the fall-off is more even, the dynamic range bigger, the stray light almost completely eliminated.

An optional protection cap -- the Zoom Cap -- fits on top of the reflector, even if it's holding a grid or if the reflector is mounted on a lamp head.

whats the difference between the magnum reflector and the zoom reflector ?

The main differences between the two reflectors are their physical size and the beam angle they produce. The Magnum Reflector is physically larger and offers a 50° beam angle while the Zoom Reflector 2 has a 35°, 75° & 105° beam angles.

What is the range of light spread in degrees of the zoom 2 reflector? Is it wider than the wide zoom reflector?

Three different beam angles can be achieved with this reflector when mounted on a Profoto flash head. At position 10, the beam angle is 105°. At position 7, the beam angle is 75°. Lastly, position 6 gives you a beam angle of 35°.

Yes, the Profoto Zoom Reflector 2 will fit on the Profoto Pro 7B head. This head still uses the standard Profoto Speedring making it compatible.
