Messenger: Small Photo/Laptop Bag (Plum) is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 185.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Terrific bag.... with one exception I loved this bag when I got it! Particularly well though out, designed, and built, and very versatile. LOTS of pockets for great organization, great protection of gear, low profile appearance. HOWEVER, the main access zipper (really nice idea), gave way after some months. Replaced the zipper, but then that one also gave way, making the bag nearly useless. Great idea for accessing the main compartment w/o having to unbuckle, but the bag's handle pulls the same material the zipper uses, making the zipper pull apart and eventually separates the two halves of the zipper. Bummer! Because I really like the idea, it just needs to be redesigned. Otherwise, it's a really terrific bag!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice I use this product for photography school. I really like the color and quality. The strap is pretty comfortable and doesn't hurt my shoulder even after lugging it around school all day. Overall it's a nice bag. I was expecting it to hold more things tho. There are a lot of cool pockets but it seems I can't really use some of them when I have my laptop, camera body one lens and a flash in my bag because the bag is already too full that the little pockets are pointless. Also the little buckles on the outside of the bag should be a little longer and adjustable. I can never close the buckles when I have stuff in my bag.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great bag, need for minor improvements Great bag for travel provided you don't take too much gear. Computer and lens padding is great and the bag fits perfectly under the airplane storage underneath the seat in front. Should you need a larger bag, Temba sells a bigger size. Minor improvements: Longer strapping on the front closure clips would enable those of us who overstuff our bags to use the clips in addition to the strong velcro. Also, being leery of the shoulder strap clips that hold the bag, I reinforced mine with plastic zip ties. Besides the metal clip on the strap, there should be some type of additional attachment. I've lost gear this way before when camera straps have failed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not a bad bag I've had this bag for about 6 months now. Nice design, might have, should have gotten the bigger one. I put a D300 into it with 18-200 lens, a D800 flash and some other things. Had to take out some dividers to do this so I could keep the lens attached. The zipper pulls fall off when you use them to open the outside pockets. Just not a great design of the zippers. I have q 15 Mack Pro and it gets tight in there. Does fit. I also have a netbook and often travel with it instead of the MAC. If you were going to buy one, get the bigger one that holds a 17, will give you more options for the 8 more dollars or so.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small camers/laptop carry on for big tri We will be in Europe for 3 weeks next year and have limited quantity of baggage. I bough this to carry a dslr and lens, lap top, Kindle and small camera stuff. I am taking a D700 and 1 zoom lens and they fit this bag perfectly. My Laptop fits perfect. There is room for paper work and travel papers. Lots of pockets for pens and tablets also. It is very well made and appears to be way durable. It will be an easy carry on for air and bus trips. I would rather my full size roller camera bag but no room for that on this trip. I bought a black bag to be less visible, but the colored ones are pretty neat. Phil

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best bag I've ever bought This bag is now my fourth camera bag. The bag is extremely well built and sturdy. It does not look like a camera bag but functions better than all the others I have had. The front flap has velcro and clips to hold it which means if you forget to snap it shut there is still plenty of security for your gear. Pockets-a-plenty in every area of the bag. My camera (D90) and up to 3 lenses and my flash (SB600) fit in the bag at one time. The shoulder pad is comfortable and well padded. The grab handle on the top is reinforced and does not pinch your hand when you pick it up. The only negative I have is the corners of the bag can extend past the flap so if you overfill the bag then the contents would be exposed slightly to the elements and wandering eyes. Two thumbs up, great bag! On a side note, the platinum color is a little darker than it appears online which is a good thing in my opinion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from messanger bag By Tenba I love this bag for quick trips when i don't want to take my big work bag that I use for weddings. It holds quite a lot of gear and I like how it hangs rather close to your body. The strap is comfortable and padded so if you are loaded down it keeps it from hurting your shoulder. I can fit a Nikon D3 body and two large lenses the 70 to 200 mm and the 28 to 70 mm. Plus two sb900 flash units extra batteries Cf card holder pens & the all important lip gloss! It is very very well made.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could be better Not well built as other people have said. Ive bought it for a 20 day walk-around bag for Disney/Universal Parks. The good: I Use it with my Canon T3i (gripped) and 3 lenses (canon 18-55, sigma 30mm 1.4 and a tamron 70-300 VC USD) It can easily fit my T3i attached to the 70-300 with the hood reversed. The customizable compartments also let carry along my filters and extra batteries. The ugly: Ive not liked the build quality of the metal clips. All the black color have gone away to a copper like color in 2 weeks of use. Leaving some black parts and some copper like parts. To expensive for the quality it delivers.
