Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great quality but not the right size I bought this product after reading a review online and was very hopeful it would be a great addition to my equipment list. When I got the product I was pleased to see how well made and solid it was. I've bent or broken several other mounts over the last 10 years. It fit great on my boom pole and looked to be the perfect product for my hard running company however when I loaded my Sennheiser MKH-416 in the mount it was considerably too loose. I'm not sure if the mount has alternate banding to mount smaller diameter mics but I was a bit disappointed there was not any option or mic fit guide to let me know this before I ordered it. As far as the product itself I believe its one of the best mounts I've seen in a long time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Looks sturdy but is actually weak I bought one of these shock mounts when looking to replace my Audio-Technica AT8415 which someone lost. I liked the single lever to adjust and the sturdier, ruggged rubber, although it was harder to fit my mic through the holes than in the flexible audiotechnica. However it broke at the base after little use. Bought a second one, I'm not sure why and it broke in the exact same spot, at the base of the actual shock mount that connects to the lever. The aluminum just did not stand repeated use, it would seem. I ended up getting another Audio-Technica AT8415 Low Profile Universal Shock Mount. Do that instead. That one is sturdy and great to use

Rated 5 out of 5 by from American made and Near Perfect While I love the construction and articulating locking arm handle and the shock-mount itself- it is very snug for my MKE-600- a quick work around that is to put some moisturizer hand creme on rubber hole which allows mic to slide on ezier- other than that this thing is well worth the cash. Great investment for the job at hand- I have used many other shock-mounts and none have impressed me more.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Made in USA Piece of Junk My first shock mount fell apart. The screws came loose between the mount and the tightening arm. I took some blame for not seeing sooner the loose screws. Because the screws came out and were lost I went ahead and bought a brand new mount. The tightening and loosening mechanism did not loosen the mount. It stayed very tight and unworkable. So.....I took off the tightening handle from the new mount and replaced it with the handle from the old mount. Problem solved.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Mount! It's the right size and fit for my Sanken CS3e mic. This is the best shock mount I've used!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Waayy too tight Bought the KTek Shockmount with my KTek shotgun, and mounting the mic is a difficulty..I often leave it mounted when not in use so I don't have to go through the effort for each setup.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very quiet, but fragile I love this mount. It is the quietest practical mount I have used. I use it with Rycote Softies with with my MKH60 and CS3E. The only downsIde is I have a knack for damaging the aluminum cage, bending it up. As a result, I have probably bought about 7 of these. I always carry a spare. Since it is so quiet and easy to use, I just consider it sort of disposable

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the money Very simple straightforward design. I would gladly pay the extra $ for the stability and solid construction. Goof for mounting on a boom or directly onto the camera shoe mount.
