Ultimate Support TS-100B Overview

  • 1Description

The TS-100B Speaker Stand from Ultimate Support makes it easy to raise and lower heavy loads, thanks to a internal shock telescoping mechanism. The air spring is under a 50 pound preload. This allows the stand to raise any speaker weighing under 50 pounds without any effort. Speakers heavier than 50 pounds will require some effort, however the gas spring mechanism will aid in the process.

The stand is constructed from anodized tubing and has metal reinforced clamps to securely support more weight than similar stands. Despite being heavy-duty, the stand is surprisingly lightweight, and can be folded down into a compact and portable unit.

Air-assisted mechanism has a 50 pound preload, allowing you to easily raise and lower heavy speakers with minimal effort
Extremely sturdy and stable construction
Folds down for compact storage and travel

    Ultimate Support TS-100B Reviews

Air-Powered Lift-Assist Aluminum Tripod Speaker Stand (Black) is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 26.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from It says what it does Works as advertised - the air spring raises heavy speakers (40-60 lbs) practically by themselves. A couple of things worth mentioning: Try NOT to raise the stand without a speaker on it or it will be very difficult to push the telescoping pole back down. You wind up pushing AGAINST the 50 lb. air spring if there is no additional weight like a speaker to help it down. Also, it takes a little time getting used to opening and collapsing the legs - you need to pull out one while holding a second in a specific way that they don't tell you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ultimate Support Air-Lift Stands Alone The Stands arrived on time, and were easy enough to set up once we read the instructions so we could better understand how the 'Air-Lift' system worked. The stands are very solid, yet are light enough to slog around. Having the ability for the speaker to be mounted and raised by one person without straining was an important attribute, the 'air-Lift' worked perfectly for raising our 35lb speakers gradually, and to a height above our audience's heads. Taking them down was similarly easier than regular stands.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very convenient feels heavier duty than my $40 stands from 8 years ago. I really like the hydraulic lift. My speakers are 65 lbs. The thing is a bit scary though. You always have to keep it clamped tightly. The only thing I'm afraid of us the clamp breaking overtime. I havent had a problem w/ my old ones, but I did with my lighting stand. So far so good. I don't recommend unlocking it without a speaker or weight on top. It's a little hard to push back down haha

Rated 4 out of 5 by from WOW!!! I recently purchased a pair of the Ultimate Air Powered stands and I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised. I was probably the biggest skeptic for quite some time until these stands arrived and I was able to put them to the test immediately. Once the speakers were mounted on to the stands it was such an ease raising and lowering ( effortless). Your back will thank you. Great job also by B&H for a prompt and hassle free order and delivery. I am givIng 4 stars only because I don't know the life span of these stands.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best tripod speaker stands. I already own standard tripod stands and I have wind up ones too. The wind ups help a lot with getting heavier speakers up high but these lift assist tripods are by far the best!. I am a female and I can push my SRX815's up on these gas assist stands with out any effort. They are so much quicker to place than the wind ups and there is no handle hanging out - so neater too. The quality is as good as anything I had come across and much better than most. The investment is so worth it - you wont be disappointed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply the Best Speaker Supports Ever I use the Ultimate Support TS-100B to support to a pair of JBL speakers at college games. They are trusted parts of the sound system. The supports are incredibly easy to use, thanks, in part, to the telescoping air spring system. It's almost like auto-pilot! The speakers go on and up they go, almost, it seems, like magic!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Powerful Stand I bought this stand for my new EV ETX12 powered speakers (42 lbs). The stand handled it really well. Takes a little nudge to get it up and a little pull to get it down. One thing i feel a little uncomfortable about is the locking screw. It feels a little less sturdy then the TS90. I feel that it might come lose and do some real damage. But besides that, it's great. Pulling down is better than pushing up when it comes to speakers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Its everything it says it is! I am a solo acoustic guitar musician and I used these for the first time last Saturday. I played at a medium size club and with the height adjustment I was able to elevate the speakers over everybody in the building. This helped in controlling feed back, which is always a problem with a acoustic guitar. I can't say enough about the ease of raising 60 pound speakers with one hand, the power asist is awesome!
