You would order a clamp without a stud, as the stud is already built onto the end of the Manfrotto 244 Variable Friction Magic Arm with Camera Bracket.

question

Hi. I want to remove the Camera/Umbrella Bracket from time to time to put on some sort of extension pin that is threaded at both ends to connect to my Small HD 702 bright monitor. The pin on the manfrotto 244 is a 1/4' thread. My small HD monitor is 1/4'' thread too. Is there any type of extension pin that is threaded at both ends that is out there? Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Hi Everyone. Thank you all for your feedback. I just purchased a great solution form B&H 1 Kupo Baby 5/8'' Grip arm Pin 1 1/4''-20 Adaptor Spigot & 1 Impact 3/8' and 1/4'-20 Adaptor Spigot. All works perfect & give me around 5 extra inches of sturdiness!

question

May I mount one side to a dslr and the other side to a standard tripod?
Asked by: Ruoqi H.
Not by itself. If your tripod has a female 3/8 attachment point on the side, then you will need a double sided 3/8 adapter. If you prefer to clamp it to one of the legs, you will need a Super Clamp 035.
