Attaches easily. Need screw driver or coin to tighten or loosen though.

question

Hi, what is the purpose of the two threaded holes on the edges of the plate? Do they match to a specific Manfrotto accessory?
Asked by: Anonymous
I'm looking at this because I just received my Nikon Z 180-600mm Zoom lens - it has both 1/4 and 3/8 mount holes on the lens mount - the advice I've read is to use BOTH. For other options you can use either one, but if your device has both size holes - use both.

question

I dislike a mounting screw on the quick release plate which requires a coin to tighten. What is an appropriate D-ring screw for this quick release plate?
Asked by: Ian
yes, I feel the same. this is quite limited in the slot the 1/4-20 goes in, but there is a 1/2 long SS thread with a key ring. Don't know where I got them, but I can send one to you n/c or to B&H n/c. They have always been good to me so no problem. Charlie

question

Does the quick release plate fit on a Manfrotto 410 JUNIOR geared head from 1997?
Asked by: Anonymous
Yes. The Junior Geared Head replaced part #3275. I purchased this plate for a 410 which also has #3275 written below and it works perfectly. The plate system doesn't look like anything changed with the Junior Geared Head, so you should be fine.
