    Manfrotto 120-38 reviews

120-38 Tripod Spacer for Tripod Columns is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from With Manfrotto 410 / Gitzo GT3541XLS Have been shooting with a Manfrotto 410 geared head and Gitzo GT3541XLS. Because this style of Gitzo has a broad flat surface to mount the head, the 410 runs out of adjustment room in the vertical dimension because the platform gets in the way. Installed between the tripod and the 410, this spacer solves that problem. It's a very nicely made piece, but ... unfortunately, it's a third of a pound making an already heavy head even heavier. A slimple, lightweight aluminum piece would have been a lot better solution.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Did the job - maybe need two though The large platform on my slider obstructed the stick on my fluid head limiting my tilt to well below horizontal. A taller or stickless fluid head would seem the solution, but this solid spacer was an economical compromise. My camera can now at least point level. I still can't quite shoot up for time lapse clouds unless I tilt the slider. I may have to get a second spacer to double it up. It is definitely solid enough to do the job. If weight is a plus to smooth out your motion on the slider then these spacers have that too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I wanted The spacer that arrived is not what was illustrated. It was better. Solid black with nicely turned knurling. There are three inset screws the lock it to the base of whatever you want riding on top (Manfrotto 410 in my case). There are also two countersunk holes for 1/4" screws in case you need to mound a rail. The 3/8" stud in the centre appears to be removable though I'm sure it's been secured with an adhesive. Nicely made, functions well and awesome price. Recommended if you need that extra inch of stand-off.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from needed for studio stand Nice solid construction . Needed for using a geared head on the Salon studio stand . Allows more movement . Also has 3 set screws to lock it in place if you want it super solid .

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Solid, a little heavy, but a third of the price of the lighter acratech piece.
