I wish Hosa hadn't switched thumbscrews
Seems like a small change, but the most recent purchase of this AES3 snake uses the much smaller diameter all metal thumbscrews. The previous versions had tapered plastic thumbscrew parts with steel threads. I find the small diameter makes the all steel ones much harder to turn in tight places, where as the large part of the plastic tapers allow for high torque turning, while the thin end speed up the process. There's even a slotted head in the plastic for screwdrivers, if very inaccessible. I hope Hosa goes back to plastic soon so I can raise the rating and buy some more.

Hosa Tascam AES Cable
Many equipment manufacturers have embraced the Tascam-pinout of DB25 audio cables. This Hosa cable is perfect for anything that uses the Tascam DA-88 style connector. You just can't buy the XLR connectors, wire and DB25 for the cost of this cable, not to mention the headache of soldering those DB-25 pins.

If you own a BlackMagic Teranex this is a must to keep your Audio in alignment
