SS10 Deluxe Heavy-duty Neck Strap (Black) is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too Slippery! Overall, it seems to be well made. Removing the rings, the strap fits perfectly on Canon cameras. But for those who wear a camera over their shoulder (as opposed to around the neck), it doesn't have any grip to it at all. I previously had a neoprene strap that a loved since it had a nice bounce to it (this one has very little bounce, but is comfortable) and was very grippy. This one is slippery, so it's the wrong strap for those who wear it over the shoulder.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Why is it shorter? I bought black version of the Bower SS10 strap. I had previously purchased the red and blue versions for my other camera bodies, and was very happy with them. I was disappointed with this purchase, however, because the strap was at least 2 inches shorter than my previous Bower straps. This made the camera sit higher on my chest, and caused added strain on my neck. It's a pity because the Bower straps are generally more durable and comfortable than the camera manufacturer's (Sony) included strap. It was advertised with the same specs as my previous straps, so I don't know if the shorter length is unique to the black strap, or that all the SS10 straps are now manufactured to be shorter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fit for the field I do wildlife photography, mostly birds in flight. My original camera strap was too stringy, thin and biting into my neck & shoulders. This strap, however, performs flawlessly in the high-pressure situation of catching a bird in flight. Its smooth, gliding material does not grip against my clothes or camera pack, thus freeing me to photograph on the spot. My lens itself is 3 lbs, so the cushiony strap really helps me to be comfortable in the field. My only criticism would be that sometimes in bulky clothing a longer strap would be better. But all in all I consider this a great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bower Pro DSLR Neck Strap A well-made, comfortable, around-the-neck strap for a medium or heavy DSLR. I've had one on my Canon 40D for a couple of years, and have been happy with it. I just bought one for a 5D mark III, and am similarly happy. The strap is a little wider than the Canon originals, and is nicely padded. Most important, the strap is black and very low key. The original 5Dm3 strap absolutely screams: EXPENSIVE CAMERA! YOU MUST STEAL ME! to everyone within a two block radius. I couldn't replace it fast enough.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Comfortable Strap The strap is soft and wide which makes it very comfortable around the neck or shoulder. Much better than the Nikon strap. I use it with a Nikon D800 and heavy 70-200 mm VRII lens. No more pain! Great value!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good strap This strap does the job of holding up my relatively heavy medium format kit. It certainly makes hand holding / street shooting much easier. I was puzzled by some of the included bits and disappointed by the lack of instructions but I'm glad I have it now. Another plus: it is one of only a few non-branded straps out there.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It Serves Its Purpose Well I bought this as part of the reduce-bling effort, going for the plain black look, since I walk around with my camera every day. Also the thicker cushion should help with the comfort. I like it so far. It's done what it's supposed to do. I can even carry the camera sling-way and it would slide around easily without having to worry about the ring and loop since it attached to the camera by replacing the OEM strap. But if you wear it on one shoulder, it will come off as soon as you bring the camera up.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Straps are strong a durable but there is an awful smell While the product is a good value I do not recommend these straps, because the off gas the most unpleasant burning rubber smell. The smell lasts for some time and is worse if kept in a camera bag, I have ours hanging on hooks in our classroom until the smell dissipates.
