    Lowepro 100 AW reviews

Inverse 100 AW Beltpack (Black) is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 51.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Like it, but don't love it One of the earlier reviews mentioned that the Inverse 100 leans forward when loaded with camera and lens. I can confirm that. Loaded with my D700 (probably a little big for this pack)with lens attached, and with nothing else inside, the pack flops over so that the bottom is resting against my body. This leaves the top, zippered opening facing outward, so that if it wasn't closed, your gear would tumble out. This is with all straps tightened and snug. Maybe using the shoulder strap would prevent this, but I don't want to have to use that, as it gets in the way and defeats purpose of having a waist pack. Anyone else have this problem?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this bag Using this to support my wedding videography. I looked for a long time for a bag that would allow me to consolidate all my other bags while still staying mobile. This is perfect. When I'm running and shooting I attach my tripod and small slider to the bottom, then add my camera and two lenses inside. Batteries and memory cards go in the front pocket. I wear the bag in three positions depending on what I'm doing, and they all work great. I'll wear it on front, side, and back of my waist. The waist strap is more supportive than I thought it would be, but I also wear the shoulder strap just to help keep some of the weight on my shoulders. So far it's working great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for Smaller DSLR's I purchased this pack to replace a Lowepro backpack that I have been using for my Canon Rebel DSLR and 2 lenses. I have a bad back and my backpack was starting to aggravate my back problem on long hikes. This beltpack is just what the doctor ordered! While it may feel a bit awkward when fully loaded, once I get my DSLR out and start photographing I hardly notice that I'm carrying my lenses and accessories on my hips. My only slight complaint is that it's a little awkward to get things in and out of since it doesn't slide around easily unless you really loosen the belt clip. That's not so much a design flaw as it is a characteristic of all beltpacks. If you have a bad back, strongly consider this pack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for use I travel a lot and wanted a Beltpack that would accommodate my Canon 7D with an 18mm-200mm lens, along with room for my 580ex II flash. The Inverse 100 AW Beltpack was the perfect choice for me. The top flap has two pouches for memory cards, a flexible side slot for a water bottle, a place for my cell on the other side and a front compartment for my passport or maps etc. An added surprise was the ability to strap my travel tri-pod underneath If you're looking for a compact, efficient way to carry your DSLR, you should take a look at this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great case for DX camera This is a very versatile case. I use it to carry my Nikon D3000, 18-55mm kit lens and 35mm f/1.8G prime lens (excellent lens, by the way), plus my compact camcorder (Canon FS200, the size of a medium DSLR lens) and assorted gear (cleaning material, extra battery, etc). The weather cover brings me peace of mind when facing rain (although it prevents accessing the contents while on), and I usually wear both the shoulder strap and the belt to distribute the load, especially on long hikes. I generally leave it behind my back when I'm on the move, and pull it to the side or front when accessing the gear. Granted, it's a bulky case (even though it's the smallest of the Inverse line, IIRC), but if you want to carry more than just one lens, I highly recommend it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Convenient I use this bag when I am shooting weddings-I love being able to grab the lens I need, switch and continue shooting. It is really convenient. I keep my camera body around me, lenses in the belt pack. I bought the smaller one (I am a petite woman), fairly unobtrusive, well built and doesn't slow me down- I love that.I checked out a lot of other gear bags, messenger bags etc...I need something hands free, something that will not get in the way when I'm running, climbing, bending etc... I also use it when I 'm hiking- for reasons listed above. The only thing I don't care for -the zipper flap. I think it should open toward your body, not out and to the side. If kind of flaps over to the left, just hanging there. Great price, very useful. Love it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just Perfect For My Requirments I have used this Beltpack almost every day since buying it form B&H. I use it in partnership with the BlackRapid DR-1 system. The Beltpack enables me to carry an SB-800 Flash, and 3 additional lenses. I normally carry 70-200, 50mm and 20mm Lenses. The pocket on the from fits in some business cards and cloths and the water bottle holders are great. I have only used the belt pack with the buckle at my back, it can go to the front or be used as a shoulder bag. Its comfortable and suits my needs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality Lowepro product This waistpack is exactly as you'd expect. The all weather aspect is a bonus. I'd recommend the 100 to the photographer with a mirrorless camera or a parralax device. Smaller DSLR like tha Canon Rebel would also work. Anything larger....I'd get a larger size.
