Rosco 290641000012 overview

  • 1Description

This is a Rosco Two Channel DMX Dimmer for the LitePad LED panel. The compact dimmer module has two output channels of manual control via sliding faders, independently dimming two separate LitePad units or groups of units. A maximum total load of five Amps can be split between the two channels.

For applications where automated control via the DMX protocol is desired, simply plug the dimmer unit into a DMX chain and assign an address via digital display pad. A DMX signal present overrides any setting of the manual faders. If the DMX signal is lost, control reverts immediately to any setting of the manual fader. The 12V power to the unit is provided by the 1A, 3A or 5A transformer included with the purchase of a LitePad.

This dimmer has ports to plug in two LitePads or two groups of LitePads.
It uses two channels on your lighting console.

    Rosco 290641000012 reviews

Two Channel DMX Dimmer for LitePad is rated 2.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Short Circuit x2 I've used this dimmer a handful of times in my studio with Rosco Litepads. When this unit is working it's great. Smooth control over the 12 x 12 HO Litepads that are attached to it. Something has caused this dimmer box to short out twice now. Rosco Customer Service was tough to deal with the first time around. It took about two weeks to convince them to warranty the unit. After sending it in for repair it took close to four months to get it back. I'm dreading having to contact them again. Thinking about going with the single channel dimmers that Rosco makes unless I can find an alternative from a better company.
