  • 1Description

The Formatt 43mm UV2A Haze Schott-Desag B270 Crown Optical Glass Filter is a wise investment. It can help protect your valuable investment from dust, moisture and scratches, which can lead to costly repairs.

It provides virtually 100% UV absorption. The Haze 2A is excellent for conditions where UV is very prevalent such as at high altitude.

If desired it can be left on the lens at all times for protection
Haze filters provide additional benefits of correction for Ultraviolet(UV) light which can register on film and videotape as a bluish cast and can obscure distant details
Ultraviolet filters allow you to correct for the UV effect to varying degrees

    Formatt Hitech BF 43-UVHAZ2A reviews

43mm Ultraviolet (UV) Haze 2A Schott-Desag B270 Crown Optical Glass Filter is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the price. It's a fairly expensive little filter, but I'm glad I bought it. It really smartened up the purple fringing on my Tamron 60B, a fairly elderly 300/2.8. I use it as a rear filter and at the sweet spot (f8) there's only an occasional bit of residual green fringing that's very easy to deal with in post. Big improvement on a favorite lens from my film days.
