Rated 4 out of 5 by from Controller for Sony FX1 I use this for outdoor videography, capturing hunting and wildlife footage. This unit is smaller than what it looks, at palm size it is very easy to work without having to over reach the buttons. Zoom control allows for the zoom rocker speed to be increased or decreased for slow or fast zooms. On and off switch does turn the camera completely off and on, which I thought was excellent. Rocker for zoom control makes a small click sound when you apply pressure to it to fast, but with a little practice you can barley hear it. It does have a short cord about 8 so a extension would be recommended if you want to hold it in your lap and control the camera from any distance.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Buy this ... The controller functions well with my Canon XL2. I mainly film wildlife and do so either on the ground or in the trees. My only complaint is that the zoom controls make a bit of noise when using them. I am worried about drawing attention to myself when zooming in or out....
