Pelican iM2620 overview

  • 1Description

The Pelican iM2620 Storm Trak Case in olive drab is an injection-molded case made of HPX high-performance resin, that is virtually unbreakable, dent and shatter resistant. It is tough, rugged, lightweight, airtight and watertight. There is a permanently attached Vortex valve that automatically adjusts air pressure without letting in water, and won't unscrew from the case. Press & Pull latches open with the push of a button, yet stay closed securely under impact or stress. The case has unbreakable molded-in hasps that allow the addition of standard-size padlocks. It has hinges with integrated feet that hold fast under impact, and create a flat surface for upright stability. Carry the case via a double-layered, soft grip, solid-core handle, or roll it via the lightweight, retractable telescoping handle and rugged in-line wheels.

This case has an empty interior.

    Pelican iM2620 reviews

iM2620 Storm Trak Case without Foam (Olive Drab) is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Case This Pelican case is the largest one they make that can be carried on a plane. I debated quite a bit between this one and the 1510 but am VERY glad I got this one. The extra space is really worth it. I carry up to 6 laptops in it with room to spare for other gear. Definitely recommended.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from True to Pelican quality, but... held back a fifth star because it lacks side handles. The telescoping handle is awkward to lift a full case by; side handles would have been much better. The press-and-pull latches are great. Wide wheelbase is very stable and rolls very smoothly. Have several of the Protector series and can see the differences between the Protector and Storm series; each has its use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Quality I locked this case in the back of my SUV and lock my camera backpack in it. Perfect fit and keeps my bag locked up and out of site to prevent someone from smashing out a window, grabbing my bag and walking off. Better quality than I was expecting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent case This is a great case. The wheels are super smooth. It's also a little lighter than the Pelican 1560 and holds more gear. I wish it had a separate top handle, other than the retractable one, to make it easier to lift but I'll deal. Pelican has the best warranty and customer service around. Would definitely recommend this case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for my needs...... I am using this Pelican case to protect my SEB-NEO front rest. Perfect fit and very strong. Easy to transport with a handel and wheels to pull it. The B&H price was right and the service and shipping was excellent.I would do business with them again in a heart beat !!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What can you say? Its a Pelican. Bought this to use as a removable top case on my rally motorcycles. I know some people who have done the same thing and have had their cases survive varying degrees of crashes and are still in service. That's about all the recommendation I need. Pelicans are the best.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my Pelican Storm cases I'm going to be using this to carry to near field monitors around. I own several Pelican Storm cases and think they're great, I prefer them over standard Pelican cases because they have the locking latches and a better arms and wheels for pulling.
