The SmartAVI SX-200 Keyboard, VGA Monitor and Mouse Extenders are a pair of Cat-5 baluns designed to extend these PC peripherals up to 500' away from the CPU. Users can access thier computers from remote locations in homes, offices, studios, networks, etc. The SX-200 includes the SX-TX200 transmitter and SX-RX200 receiver and both are required to complete the extension between the CPU and peripherals. The signal is sent between the transmitter and receiver via standard Cat-5 cable and Windows, NT, OS/2, UNIX and Linux are among the supported operating systems.
