    Pyle Pro PDWR63 reviews

    PDWR63 6.5" Indoor-Outdoor Waterproof Speakers (Pair) is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far, So good. These speakers are working out very well so far. I have them mounted under a balcony above my deck. They sound very good for the price and the switch that boosts the bass for outdoors listening proved more useful than I thought it would. Im not talking about sub-woofer bass, but there is a noticeable difference. I havent cranked the speakers to their max yet due to the proximity of the neighbors, but they meet my moderate needs quite well. The rubber cover that protects the speaker connections isnt water tight, but I sealed it with duct tape for now. I think I might seal the connections with caulking after theyve been up long enough to be sure I dont have to take them down. My only real complaint is that they only came in white and would have preferred black. So far, so good!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from excelent sound Easy to install, great outdoor base sound and high range, brackets do not hold the weight of the speaker to hold them at the right angle

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My Reveiw of PDWR63 Speakers These speakers have great sound. I am connected to a reciever outputing 105 watts per channel. At 3/4 volumn, the speakers crank; base sounds great as well. At lower volumns the sound is great as well, with pronounced base and general sound clarity. NOte that the outdoor base booster switch really does not do anything; it is suppose to increase base output for outdoor use. Their is a rubber cover over the backside of the speaker, covering the above referenced base booster switch, as well as the wire terminals. This rubber cover does not really stay on all that well, and I duct tapped it down, to keep rain water out. The speakers are advertised as outdoor water proof speakers. I spoke directly to the manufacturer, and being that they are lower cost speakers, they stated that they are better suited to be under a connopy, in lieu to being out in the open, where heavy rain can drown them. Their statement was that water could potentially get into speakers, after a while, if not under a canopy. I bought them anyhow, because I could not find speakers with the equal technical audio ratings and the acutal sound quality, for this price. I simply keep my speakers covered to protect them. Very happy with the sound, they crank.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great sound, bad mounts The nut that is supposed to be fixed to the speaker on the top and bottom for the mounting brackets was pushed in when I received my speakers. So it was rattling around inside and I could not mount them. However, B and H replaced them and I'm happy with my purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good- great sound for an outdoor speaker Better than good sound. Good lows but not sub woofer lows. Exactly what I was looking for, good sound, enough bass without sub, for a great price. Made in China? Wasn't really happy about that. Haven't tried the brackets yet. At least good sounding outdoor speakers!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from buy the jbl's They cost just over seventy bucks so I really can't complain all that much. Still the truth of the matter is they don't sound good, there's no bass really at all. checked the receiver and all inputs sound the same. the look decent enough but the sound is not great

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent Product Placed 8 of these speakers in a 4-H Barn and they performed pretty well. I thought the volume was a little low for the power I was feeding them but the customer said they did great through the week of the fair with the barn loaded with livestock.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Deal Bought 4 of these for our little church with a little budget and they sound great. You can drive them pretty loud (I only tried it once, just to see what a full blown symphony would sound like at an unbearably loud volume, pretty good).
