1U Single Decora Device Rack Panel is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy reack solution for Decora mount I had a Decora dual rocker switch I needed to add to a rack build I was doing and this was an ideal solution for neatly mounting it between components on the face of the rack. The purpose of the switches was to control power to a firewall and cable modem, both of which didn't have built-in power switches. This was done for a small business where I didn't want anyone reaching around the back to unplug wires. This is a sturdy steel panel with a nice black finish. Note that I had to slighltly drill out the predrilled holes but that may simply be because of paint coating the inside of the holes when they're sprayed at the time of manufacture. The main concern with something like this is that if you're mounting an AC fixture and will have AC voltages present, technically those connections should be protacted against anyone touching them when they're live. The 1U height of the panel is narrower than a standard duplex Handy Box so it's not like you can mount one behind. Some might choose to simply cover terminals on an outlet or switch with electrical tape, which certainly would not pass electrical code. So, consider that you might have to fabricate a solution for this unless you already know where to obtain such an enclosure. In my case, although I mounted Decora switches rated for AC use, I used them to switch 12VDC, which controlled relays switching the power at the back of the rack, so there were no dangerous voltages exposed.
