Rated 5 out of 5 by from just what I expected I use this umbrella at work, and it works great. Nothing fancy about it, but it was just what I needed

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cheap Price = Cheap Product I picked up a Lowel Tota light for some general fill lighting and figured this umbrella would be fine for my limited use. All is fine as long as you don't as much blow on the umbrella. The wire for the framing is as thin and fragile as material can get. I bumped my light stand and put my hand up, thinking the light was going to fall over but the scenerio was not that serious at all. Too my surpise the umbrella folded just by my hand reaching out and catching the light and stand lightly. Umbrellas are not kown too be durable but I've never worked with one this flimsy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect replacement for what was needed. I damaged my last umbrella when my light got knocked over. Easy to replace of course and the price was right. Given that it got knocked over in a dirty manufacturing plant, replacing it was the best option. These aren't the sturdiest umbrellas, but for what they do, they really don't need to be. Perhaps a better investment would have been to purchase a ballast bag to weigh down my lights so that getting knocked over would have been a remote possibility.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid umbrella, for the most part I use this with my DV pro lights. It takes three seconds to install, and serves it's purpose, for the most part. It's only weakness is that, put up against the 250 watt pro light with diffusion glass, it provides light so soft it is sort of drowned out by the brighter, un-umbrella-having light. This is solved by moving the other light futher away, so it's a small complaint, but still one that is valid in close quarters.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better value than a soft box Need soft diffused light at a reasonable price?Looks as good as a soft box and everyone can afford it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Popping Noises with tota Light I got this umbrella as a part of a B&H kit that came with a Lowel Tota Light, Impact Stand, Bulb, and this Umbrella. Everything else in the kit is great, but this umbrella is awful. Whenever I turn the light on and this umbrella heats up a little bit form the light, it starts making a loud popping noise. There's something wrong with the way it is made where it flexes or or expands when it gets hot. I have tried everything and can't get this to go away, so I am ordering a different umbrella.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use! I use these as part of the Impact Tota light kit that I bought. They're super easy to use and they come with very easy to understand directions. I like the light quality they produce in an indoor studio setting. I've been shooting oil paintings on canvas that can shoot a little glossy. Using these umbrellas work well to cut down the glare. Super happy with them!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid buy Great diffuser for off-camera flash. Used it a couple of times indoors but I am starting to think I need a larger umbrella. Use this in shoot-through fashion. Think it would be more ideally suited for smaller subjects (product photography). Think its a little small for what I want to use it for. Not a knock on the umbrella itself. My bad in not buying the correct size
