Savage V01-0920 Overview

This pure white Infinity Solid Vinyl Background from Savage is a 9 x 20' seamless vinyl sheet with a nonreflective, glare-free matte finish. The pure white is ideal for high-key still photography and video imaging.

This durable vinyl background is wrinkle resistant, and can be easily spot cleaned with a sponge and mild soap. The roll core has a 2.125" interior diameter, so you can use it with most crossbar-type background support systems.

Note: Colors depicted may vary slightly, due to differences in computer monitors, printed media, and variances in the manufacturing process.

Has anyone used the "shiny" side for shooting ...

Has anyone used the "shiny" side for shooting large product images? Does the "shiny" side have harsh spots from the lighting? I haven't used this product in many years and I am considering it for full body apparel images for web retail. Any thoughts?

The matte side would yield better results as it would offer cleaner surface. The "shiny" side would produce hot spots.

Will these work on a wall-mounted roller system, like the Impact wall mounting kit? If so, what's the diameter of the tube these come on (for getting some PVC pipe)?

Savage lists their vinyl background as having a cardboard core which measures about 2.1 on the inside. If using it with the Impact Wall Mounting Kit, the Vari-Drives in that kit would insert into the cardboard core to help suspend it up onto the wall hooks.
