Eco Pro Clearfix Reviews
Does the job well!
Having just developed my first ever roll of film, I don't have any reference to other fixers on the market, but I can definitely say that this fixer was brilliant! I highly appreciate its low toxicity, minimal odor, and convenient speed. Especially, I was very pleased with how my film turned out using this.
first time user
first i use this product, no odor as advertised, cleared the film nicely, will buy again
Great less toxic alternative
I love making my own photographs, but don't like knowing that I am using potentially toxic chemicals. The Eco Pro line solves the dilemma. Glad B&H carry this line.
Good fixer. I haven't tested the claim that it requires shorter wash times, and just stick with what I normally do. But I do find it more pleasant to work with.
Easy on the nose and works great
My darkroom is teeny tiny (and it doubles as my only bathroom). Since I literally bathe in the same tub where I develop and rinse my prints, I want my chemicals to be the least harmful for the environment and my future health. This fixer doesn't have a strong odor, doesn't irritate my skin if it happens to splash my arm, and it does its job very well.
The only fixer I use; little odor. For film and prints.
I like EcoPro chemicals. Not just the fixer but also its ascorbic acid developer. My negatives love it.
Used this Fixer with EcoPro B&W developer. Immediately noticed that it doesn't have the typical photo chem smell--even thought that maybe I made a mistake by mixing too much water, but it cleared the film in less than 2 minutes. I stored it for use on the next batch or two. Make sure you don't pour used Fixer down the drain as it contains the silver from the film you developed and that can be really harmful to plumbing as well as the environment. Great value for a great product.
