I purchased this recently from B&H Photo to do some macrophotography with my Nikon camera and a micro Nikkor lens. The release cord prevents any camera shake from manually pressing the shutter release on the camera and is simpler and faster than using the delay timer. The release cord is of the usual Nikon high quality and it has worked reliably for me now with taking several hundred images. I am very satisfied with it.

This is an inexpensive way to ensure you have decreased camera shake with your Nikon DSLR or mirrorless camera. I have used it for landscape work and the results prove its worth.

question

Can the infrared shutter release be set for continuous use, instead of one shot only?
Asked by: Thomas
The Nikon MC-DC2 Remote Release Cord is not an infrared remote release; it is designed to be plugged into the MC-DC2 terminal on the side of compatible Nikon DSLR cameras. If you have an inquiry concerning a particular remote, I would recommend sending an e-mail with the full brand/model of the remote in question, as well as the brand/model of the camera with which you will use the remote to [email protected] and we could then assist you with your inquiry.
