The Nikon MC-DC2 Remote Release Cord works like the shutter button. And if the shutter is set to shoot multiple times it will do the same.

question

Can the infrared shutter release be set for continuous use, instead of one shot only?
Asked by: Tom
The Nikon MC-DC2 Remote Release Cord is not an infrared remote release; it is designed to be plugged into the MC-DC2 terminal on the side of compatible Nikon DSLR cameras. If you have an inquiry concerning a particular remote, I would recommend sending an e-mail with the full brand/model of the remote in question, as well as the brand/model of the camera with which you will use the remote to [email protected] and we could then assist you with your inquiry.

Asked by: Wanda
No, there is no corded or wireless remote for the D3500. You will need an Apple or Android device with the Snapbridge app for remote control. Be advised that there are some limitations.
