Using both aspherical and ultra-low dispersion elements, color fringing, chromatic aberrations, and spherical aberrations are well-controlled for a high degree of sharpness, color accuracy, and clarity. Complementing the imaging capabilities is a four-stop-effective Image Stabilizer system that minimizes the appearance of camera shake for sharper handheld shooting. Additionally, a DC Micro Motor autofocus system delivers quick focusing performance and a minimum focusing distance of 1.5' is available for close-up shooting.

All-in-one zoom is designed for APS-C-format Canon EF-S-mount DSLRs, and offers a 28.8-320mm equivalent focal length range.
Two ultra-low dispersion elements are used to control color fringing and chromatic aberrations in order to realize greater color accuracy and clarity.
Two aspherical elements are used to reduce distortion and spherical aberrations throughout the zoom range in order to maintain sharpness and accurate rendering.
Super Spectra coating has been applied to individual elements to minimize ghosting and flare for greater contrast and color neutrality when working in strong lighting conditions.
An Optical Image Stabilizer helps to minimize the appearance of camera shake by up to four shutter speed stops to better enable working in low-light conditions and with slower shutter speeds.
A DC Micro Motor autofocus system provides quick focusing performance and a dedicated AF/MF switch allows for quick switching between auto and manual focusing methods.
Rounded six-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasing out of focus quality that benefits the use of shallow depth of field and selective focus techniques.

question

Would this fit on a canon 6D camera?
Asked by: CARMEL S.
As fas as I know, not, this will not fit.I'm using a EOS Rebel T5i camera that can use either F or S lenses. Also thinking in change my camera to a 6D, but in that case I will need to buy another 18-200mm lense because will not be able to use current. That is sad, because I'm very pleased with this lense

question

which front lens cap is appropriate?
Asked by: Thomas M.
You can use several lens caps available. We would suggest the choice is between affordable Sensei 72mm Center Pinch Snap-On Lens Cap B&H # SELC72 or OEM Canon E-72 II 72mm Lens Cap B&H # CALC72Q.

question

I already have Canon 28-135 with my EOS 50D that I bought from B& H. What important feature do I get if I buy the 18-200? Also, how safe is it to buy the refurbished versus new?
Asked by: Anonymous
The main difference between the Canon 28-135mm lens and the Canon 18-200mm lens is the fact the 18-200mm lens would be wider on the Canon EOS 50D and would work better as an all-around lens compared to the 28-300mm lens, which was more-so designed for usage on Canon full-frame or film SLR cameras. Concerning refurbished cameras, the main difference between the two would be the warranty. Refurbished cameras are cameras that have been sent back to the manufacturer, inspected, and brought back to initial factory specifications. However, as they are not new, Canon does not include the full 1-Year warranty. While I have no issue with purchasing refurbished equipment (especially as I can test the equipment and ensure it is working using our standard 30-Day Return Policy), it would be up to your personal comfort level as to if you need a full warranty or if the refurbished warranty is okay for your usage needs.
