The cherry Oxford Two-Piece Lectern with Sound System from AmpliVox Sound Systems features solid wood construction, a scratch-resistant clear lacquer finish, and is suitable for an audience of up to approximately 2500 people. Features include a 50 watt multimedia stereo amplifier powered by ten "D" batteries (sold separately), four built-in 6 x 8" Jensen speakers, and a built-in gooseneck dynamic mic. The purpose of using "D" cells is to maximize the mobility of the podium and not tie it to a fixed power cord. The amp has three mic inputs. Battery life of the cells is approximately 200 hours.
The lectern has a removable top that can be used on a tabletop. The lectern has three inside shelves for storing collateral material. The reading surface features raised edges on four sides to prevent your material from slipping off. Four casters, two lockable, allow you to roll the Oxford to your preferred venue.
