Four Blur Reduction Technologies with CCD Shift System
The CCD shift system mechanically compensates for camera shake by moving the actual image sensor in an oppositional manner to the camera movement. The Anti Shake DSP reduces blur due to shaky hands and subject movement, by using high shutter speeds or high sensitivity settings. Finally, the Film Stabilization function eliminates blur when shooting in movie mode.
Exilim Engine 2.0 Image Processor
The latest Exilim Engine provides advanced functions and greater power efficiency to the Exilin EX-V7 Digital Camera. The Auto Tracking AF function follows moving subjects, keeping them continuously in focus until the photo is taken, and Tonal Control lets users keep bright areas of the scene bright by limiting the occurrence of dark pixels. The Exilim engine also offers ability to selectively eliminate noise in designated color regions, such as the sky, and boasts faster image processing functions that enable instantaneous color correction or angle adjustment.
High-quality Movies Using Next-generation H.264 Video Encoding
The EX-V7 records movies using H.264 video encoding, and makes beautiful movies at high compression ratios to save storage space. This encoding method records about 1.5 times longer with the same memory capacity and same picture quality as conventional MPEG-4. Furthermore, silent lens motion enables optical zooming while recording movies in stereo sound, and the camera records 16:9 wide-aspect movies compatible with wide-screen TVs.

The EX-V7 has 11.5MB of internal memory so you can start shooting immediately. The storage capacity an also be greatly expanded with either Secure Digital (SD), Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) or MultiMediaCard (MMC) media so you can save large numbers of photos and record movies in excess of an hour or more in duration.
