The Furman MAX In-Wall DATA Module inserts into any MIW-POWER unit to protect against surges on both signal and power lines; thus, eliminating potential grounding problems by creating an Isolated Ground Reference for the remote equipment. The MIW-DATA accepts RS-232 and 10/100bT Ethernet signal lines running between source components and remote equipment. Devices connect to standard RJ-45 jacks on the face of the module. Ethernet cabling inside the wall connects to an RJ-45 jack. RS-232 cabling inside the wall connects to a screw terminal block. Protect multiple signal lines with one module and the installation flexibility the MIW-DATA delivers.
