REM-D-FOOT Remote Foot Pedal is rated 2.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Self-prompting made easy Using with the Prompter People Flex 11. I bought this for a series of videos for me to self-prompt while on camera. A handheld scroll wheel was out of the question since my hands are in the shot. This works perfectly. 3 foot activated switches: 1 to start/stop; another to increase scroll speed; and the third to slow scroll speed. Takes a little while to practise your foot to match your read speed...kind of like learning a new dance. No drivers or software to upload...plug and play. Only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because the switches are a little noisy when you click on them. You have to be pretty smooth to do it without the noise being picked up on microphone.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from A great idea gone wrong! This product could have been perfect. The set up, the functionality, and everything is right; but for some crazy reason, the petal is way too noisy during tapping operation! If the talent is operating it and he/she is wearing a lavaliere, or even a shotgun mic for your voice, the clicking noise is audible in the recording every time!! You literally have to put several layers of a sound blanket on their foot to muffle the high pitch noise of tapping the scroll function on/off paddle!!! I mean, who designs this stuff without the understanding of what it's used for? Don't they realize a foot petal is used by the recording talent and it should be silent operations?!!! I bought this from their store but I wish I had bought it from B&H so I could easily return it. They didn't respond to my emails! I hope they have a future version, like a Mark II where they address this issue. It would be very useful then but unless you have some other than the talent operate this iteration of this remote foot petal, stay away from it!
