The Paramount Buddy Bracket solves the photographer's problem of mounting a Pocket Wizard brand transmitter/transceiver, with an Canon or Nikon Speedlight to a stand without using tape, rubber bands or other "Rube Goldberg" devices.

The "L" piece of the Buddy Bracket screws into your Pocket Wizard. The hot shoe accepts your flash. The built-in mini-sync cord plugs into the Pocket Wizard. The screw mount has a standard 1/4"-20 female thread which will mount to the top of your light stand or umbrella bracket (available separately).

Buddy Bracket with MHSF1 Cord for Pocket Wizard is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well with 580EX This makes a nice setup with 580EX and PW Plus II Transceiver. Three things to keep in mind: 1. Will not work with 580EXII, not enough room to fit on the bracket. 2. It's best if you can store this in your bag preassembled-- setup is a little tricky and time-consuming, especially in the dark under time pressure. 3. The buddy bracket will not accommodate an umbrella. Gary Fong Lightsphere is probably the best modifier solution with this setup. The Paramount Strobe Dolly is the perfect partner with this, allowing on-camera flash and on-camera PW Transceiver simultaneously, for a 2-flash lighting setup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome A tad expensive for a dodad, but so worth it. Before I got this, I would hang my pocket wizard from the string it comes with on the lightstand. Not only did it look dumb, it also risk detaching the sync cord. With this device, my problems are solved! My flash sits securely on the hotshoe to micro sync, and the pocket wizard is stable on the other end of the device. It looks more professional and functions better. And as an added bonus, it takes less time to set up if everything is pre-assembled: Flash on hotshoe cord on bracket buddy with pocketwizard all attached to umbrella holder. All i need to do is attached the above pre-assembled to a lightstand and insert umbrella. Easy Pea-sy!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great product, but..... Works great for triggering Canon Flashes with Pocket wizards off camera on a lightstand. But with the 430ex you cannot attach both the pocket wizard and the speedlite, the wheel that is used to tighten the pocketwizard to the bracket is too large and stops the speedlite from attaching to the hotshoe. :( it could easily be fixed by making the bracket longer, would bend it if it was a metal bracket to make it work but it's plastic. It still works but you just have to hang the pocket wizard instead of securely attaching it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from buddy bracket MHSF1 I use the bracket for my Pocket Wizard Plus X's and Canon 580 EX II's on location shoots where time is critical and space is limited. I find that I'm having difficulty getting consistent communication between the PW Plus X and my Canon 580 EX II's. The bracket itself is a lot better than using the foot, shoe mount set up that I was using.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth every penny! I put off buying these a couple years ago and instead built my own hot-shoe flash triggers using cheaper parts. They worked for a while but were temperamental. I recently decided to buck up for these and they are simply amazing. Well-built, reliable and durable within reason. Worth the cost!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This cord must be improved This cord is a great tool for my business I am so disappointed on the female tread part it is so poorly designed it comes out very easy and that is the end of it. Let me know when you improve it I have spent much money in this product

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for mini tripod stands This is a great product for use with standard light stands but my use is with flexible mini tripod stands. I wish it was made of metal rather than plastic. I wish the bracket was adjustable to allow a wider flash head. But it serves my purpose.
