    Domke F-34M reviews

15x15" Color Coded Protective Wrap (Blue) is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 92.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fit suggestions I could not tell from the product description what sizes of wraps I might need for a Nikkor 70-200 and my Nikon D90. The online chat person suggested the 19 but it just seemed too big so I ordered the 15 Here's what it will wrap: the Nikkor 70-200 with lots of room to spare or my Nikon D90 with a Tamron 28-75mm lens on it. Easily. The design permits creative wrapping, so there seem to be lots of options in doing the wrapping. I am going to be carrying these on a trip without my camera bag and want then secure/safe in my shoulder bag. I think these are just right for this use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent, versatile protection These wraps are very nice. I bought the first two for lenses due to a lack of dividers in a camera bag I recently purchased, and I'm very impressed. Good cushioning, flexible wrapping options, and very well made. I plan to add one for two more to each future order until I have everything covered (flash, etc) The uses for these are limitless. The 11x11 fits a small lens perfectly (I have one for my Nikkor 50mm 1.8d, and the 15x15 fits my 18-200mm just right. I also have a 15x15 for my Speedlight SB-600. Available in different colors to help you color-code things.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stealth in a backpack! I was looking for a way to carry my equipment (Pro-level camera, small lens, medium zoom, large zoom) in stealth mode as I was traveling to a part of the world notorious for disappearing camera bags. After a very long search of camera bag options I decided to test out a regular lightweight backpack and several colors and sizes of the Domke wraps. Domke makes protective wraps in three sizes and several colors. I found this size (15x15) to be best for overall use; wrapping a lens (most sizes other than an ultra-long zoom), flash, even the camera body a small lens. The wraps themselves hand wash and dry well, are sturdy, the colors are nice and have a soft protective covering with a non-fiberous interior. They are easy to wrap and unwrapthe four velcro pieces attach anywhere to the color part of it's outer surface so you can wrap basically anything. The largest Domke wrap great for wrapping my camera with the 75-300 zoom attached. If you are thinking about ordering the large size for all of your needs, then I would say that the large wrap is cumbersome when the 15x15 will do. For mid to smaller lenses, supplies and random stuff that you want to keep together, the small wrap is a good choice. Overall, my favorite is the medium size, not too big and fits just about anything. As a side-note, I also found these wraps useful for bringing home items of a more fragile nature like glass ... we even used them as temporary cozies for bottled beer ... I think I will travel with these even if my camera equipment is in it's normal Domke camera case :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Large Format Lenses I use this for wrapping my large format lens (120mm Rodenstock) when I am not using my field camera (Toyo AII). It is very nice to wrap my lens in this and store in my bag, backpack, or camera bag. It is used primarily for extra protection. The padding is good and provides a decent amount of protection on its own. The color coding is nice as it lets me where my lens is, as it stands out. The 15' * 15' is perfect for this lens and wraps nicely with plenty of room. I don't think the smaller one would work very well, if at all, and would be too small for any large format lens in my opinion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Color Coded Protection I have all my lenses and my small binoculars in my camera backpack, all wrapped in a different color Domke wrap. I can immediately tell what is in the wrap by its color. The wrap folds down to nothing so if I am using a particular lens often, I just fold the wrap and stick it in the bottom of the compartmant, placing the lens on top of it. At the end of the day, I rewrap the lenses. If I need to remove the lens from the backpack for some reason, the lens is still protected and can be slipped into a suitcase or other carry-on.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not very paddeed I guess I'm at odds with other reviewers. My previous wrap of larger size (different brand) is much more padded/cushy. If camera with this Domke wrap carried in soft cloth bag (my on the street method) - this product simply doesn't offer enough protection. Grand disappointment.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well, does what it says. This is basically a wrap for camera equipment, with velcro corners to hold it in place. If you have a camera bag with specific slots for each lens or body, you probably don't need it. if you're like me and like to just slip your camera into your briefcase or leather bag, and don't want to carry a separate camera bag, this is perfect. It prevents the camera from banging around loose, and provides some degree of protection and padding. The only negative is that I would have put the soft fluffy side on the inside where the camera is, and put the tough nylon part on the outside. That's not how the velcro works though. Deleted one star just for that. Otherwise it works well. I'll probably buy more if I start carrying more camera equipment, since I don't want to lug an extra camera bag.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice compact option to slip into purse I use this to wrap my video camera body and other accessories when I'm going somewhat incognito and don't want to haul a bulky camera bag. The lens wraps (I have 3) are a bit thin, so I only use them when I will be able to really protect my bag overall, or put them in a padded bag. I wouldn't want to drop anything in them, as I don't think it would give good protection at all. But, it is good to wrap a videomic, for example, so that the cables and shock mount doesn't get messed with. Its a nice alternative to bulky camera bags. My only wish is that it could be slightly more padded.
