ZEISS 000000-0490-090 Overview

The ZEISS Binocular Harness Strap is an elastic, self-adjusting strap which comfortably balances a binocular or camera while in use or in the idle position against the body.  The looping attachment system enables the harness to quickly snap in place, and the elastic holds the optics tight to your torso.

This allows you to be on the move without holding your optics in hand and without the optics bouncing around, either.  When perfectly positioned, you'll just be able to get the binocular past your chin-facilitating quicker use.

Stabilizes gear against the body while enabling it to glide along strap during use

Can this be converted to a side carry harness and/or worn like a basic neck strap?
Asked by: Jeannine
I’ve only had mine for a few weeks but think it could be worn around the neck (or probably as a side carry) but wonder why? It is very comfortable as a harness even though I had a learning curve for getting into it. Now I wouldn’t go back to a neck strap.

question

I have a pair of Swarovski binoculars that are about ten years old. I have attached metal split rings to the binoculars in order to clip my old strap. Will this work with the Zeiss binocular strap.? I guess I just need to know what type of connector the Zeiss star uses, and how that strap attaches to the binocular.
Asked by: Mike
The strap has two snap-hooks (similar to a carabiner ) that can be attached to most any ring or hook. You'd attach the harness directly to the binocular's strap attachment hooks.

question

Does it work with the Zeiss Victory SF bino?
Asked by: Hauwei
Yes. I will work with all Zeiss binoculars since they have the same attachments on the barrels. I cannot speak highly enough about this strap. Excellent.
