JS-MCTB200 Tripod Mic Stand with Telescoping Boom is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 23.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good mic stand I use this mic stand with the Yeti THX-Certified USB Condenser Microphone, and even though the mic is quite heavy, the mic stand is still stable and secure. It's also easy to adjust. Setting it up and taking it down are fairly simple as well. From my experience, for people from 5'1 to 5'10, it worked fine, and when we were playing instruments, it was easily adjustable to a lower height.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as sturdy as I would like You've got to tighten the stand really tight for it not to slowly creep into the shot. The threads were loose as well and I'm in the process of returning the stand and getting a new one. I wish it were easier to tighten the boom pole so it doesn't float down. Otherwise it did the job and it's pretty solid for the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great inexpensive stand but.. bought two, used this with and akg c214 condenser mic, one of the legs on one of them out of the box was not at an even angle with the rest of them when fully extended but otherwise they hold everything up fine, i decided to go with these as opposed to the really expensive k&m models.. that was a mistake, if you have the money, go for it they will last a really long time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent quality for a budget tripod. Very good product for the price. Holds my large condenser mic (U47 style) at virtually full stretch of the boom arm. Worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent value for the money I am a semi-professional musician who gigs a couple of times a month. I use this mic stand at rehearsals and gigs. While it is very inexpensive, I think it gives great value for the money. The base is wide and stable, the boom telescopes, which gives a lot of options for set-up, the collars lock securely, and the black powder coat finish looks very nice onstage. The only thing I might list as a con with this stand is that the threads where the boom attaches to the stand and the threads on the boom for the mic clip seem to be somewhat fragile. I have not had a problem, as I simply took care when attaching the boom and clip to their respective threads. But, it good to note that such care is necessary. I bought this stand along with the Ultimate mic clips. These are also a terrific value. I recommend buying a couple of the clips when you buy the stand. Overall, this stand is more than one would expect for the very low price and I am very happy with it. Highly recommended!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well, great addition to our setup. We use this for a church sound system. It works great, it can swing over from our main podium to our kids story podium with a twist of the wrist. Only one drawback from giving it a 5 star is that the middle hinge is a bit stiff or loose, it's hard to find a middle ground with it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Iffy Knobs... But the stand is straight and holds a mic just fine. Good deal, but don't expect it to last a lifetime.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good value but 2 big issues I use this as an overhead boom mic stand for interviews - on a shoot I found that the boom pole needs a counterweight or it will topple over . I only had a single rode mic, so by no means was there much weight . Issue # 2: the end thread is a weird fat unusable thread that fits no professional microphone cradle I own ( I have quite a few) it is almost a deal breaker as again you have to gaffer tape on your cradle. Please offer an adapter b&h!! Or warn all video makers. Scott
