It holds a microphone

The legs are not aligned correctly so it leans to one side. It is compact when folded and it does hold a mic so it is useful, just not well constructed

Solid Stand

A very sturday and solid stand. Very portable and versatile. Needed a stand for a camera that did not have a microphone mount. In conjunction with a long audio cable, I am able to place the micophone in any position for optimal sound capture.

Light weight but Sturdy

I use this for remote recording/filming where I have to hike in all of my gear. Weight is important, but it has to stand solid. This fits the bill.

Mini Table Top Mic Stand

I needed a small table top mic stand for some live location seminar audio. I use my camera's shotgun micropone and with an extention mic cable I can record quality audio. The stand is well built and made of metal. The legs collapse for easy storage and transport. On occasion you may need to tighten the screws holding the legs in place because with a lot of setups they tend to loosen slightly. Overall a good inventment and a valuable tool in my arsenal.

Nice Little Mic Stand for the Money

Not the best or sturdiest mic stand in the world, but for the money it is more than adequate. I'm using it with a Shure SM58S mic and the stand handles it just fine. This was really the only cheap table top mic stand I could find and I have had no problems in the month+ that I've owned it.

Not really mini

I bought 2 of these, hoping they would be a good replacement for an aging cousin I've had for a while. They'll do the job, but they certainly are not mini in any way shape or form. They are really tall when set up and they are very long when folder down. The tube in the center twist locks in place, but it is probably longer than it needs to be and doesn't break down so it adds to the length. The legs twist to fit out straight and hug the center tube when closed - good luck fitting these in a fanny pack easily. On 2nd look the legs do not really feel that solid. Everything else could be run over by a truck, but the legs just kid of dangle when not in use. They work, but I go a lot on feel and they do not feel very substantial. Stuff gets beat up - especially in gear bags and when you're in a rush to set it up - I'm not sure how long these are going to last under those situations. The great thing is these are priced pretty well, so if you needed to replace one it's not going to bust your budget. For the price they are good - so I give them 3 stars.

A solid stand with many uses for small to medium mics,

One of the best for its size. Not much height adjustment and I wish it could go lower. Very handy two have in your kit.

worthless stand

This stand is a waste of space in the box. You can not use the pop filter with it. For a table top stand it does OK but I'll have to order a new stand.
