    Vixen Optics 1811 reviews

Digiscoping Balance Rail is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product I did a lot of research looking for this type of balance rail, one that was simple in design and didn't cost an arm and leg. I'm using this primarily on a spotting scope that is not balanced once it is mounted on a tripod. This balance rail meets every expection. Thanks B&H photo and Vixen Optics for a great product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Twisting imbalance The rail works perfectly as long as everything is upright. The difficulty comes when you move around if you do not keep the scope upright. I found that the weight of the scope would twist out of alignment and loosen the black holding nut to the point that I have to reposition and realign it before I use it again. I couldn't tighten it enough to prevent this. I might try inserting a thin rubber pad in between the rail and scope to prevent this. Just a pain when I am carrying the setup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple and effective I use this rail on my Celestron spotting scope for both viewing and photography. I screw it into one of the holes on the support of the scope and slide the rail to the back position for viewing and to the front position for digiscoping. The scope is perfectly balanced in each case. Very simple. Very good!
