This item is FCC compliant and can only be used with corresponding USA FCC compliant models. Using this item outside of the United States may be illegal. B&H is not responsible for any fines, fees, or penalties that may come from inappropriate spectrum usage.
2 Channel Settings + Learn Mode
Each setting can be programmed to support up to 20 ControlTL channels for TTL photography, or 32 standard channels for manual flash photography. The FlexTT5 Transceiver also has a three-zone selector switch, which integrates with Nikon zones and ratios. The Learn Mode allows the unit to detect the channel used by any other unit in the area.
HyperSync & High-Speed Sync Technology
Supports flash sync speeds of up to 1/500th sec. High-Speed Sync auto syncs flash system with the camera's shutter speed setting, up to 1/8000th.
Built-In Hot Shoe
Features a hot shoe on the top, so that you can still mount a flash unit directly onto the camera. This allows you to combine your remote flash with the on-camera flash, or use the on-camera flash for additional i-TTL control only.
Low-Profile Design
The MiniTT1 lies flat to stay out of the way and uses an internal antenna.
Configurable and Upgradeable
The MiniTT1 features a mini-USB port, which makes it upgradeable and "future-proof" for continuous improvements and compatibility upgrades.

How long does the battery typically last?
Asked by: Natalie
A battery will normally last about 40 hours of "awake" time. If the camera's meter is awake, the MiniTT1 will be, as well. If your camera has a 10 pin remote port, you can use the PW-DC-N10 power adapter: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/982497-REG/profoto_804_608_pw_dc_n10_nikon_dslr_power.html

question

Can I use the nikon su800 rather than the pocketwizard zone contol on miniTT1 for CLS/zone contol etc?
Asked by: PJJ
No, you cannot. The PocketWizard remote system uses wireless radio frequency to communicate with their remote system, and uses a proprietary TTL system that is compatible with Nikon's i-TTL system, but does not directly communicate with Nikon cameras; the system is only shared between PocketWizard ControlTL remotes. The Nikon SU-800 Wireless Transmitter uses Nikon's wireless optical system to communicate with the optical sensor built into their flashes. Nikon's optical system and PocketWizard's radio system are not cross-compatible and cannot be used with one another.

question

can I use a Nikon mini tt1 on a Canon camera?
Asked by: Anonymous
No. Unfortunately these transmitters are dedicated to the hot shoe (top flash port) of each camera and the configuration is different between canon and Nikon.

Can I use these on 2 cameras with speedlights on TTL, while using a quantum with a plus 2 on it?
Asked by: Anonymous
You can have a Mini TT1 on each camera with a flash set for TTL on top while a Quantum Q Flash is off camera connected to a Plus II unit.

question

Can I use this with a Yongnuo YN560-TX? How universal is this (if at all)? I have the YN560 IV and the Yongnuo YN560-TX and I want them to sync at high shutter speeds. Eventually I would like to upgrade to some strobes.
Asked by: Steve M.
You would have to check with pocket wizards - not sure if they operate on the same protocol. I have mini tt1 and the flex tt5 systems and they work great. I believe you would need yongnou receivers as well.
