Very nice, has 3 ports, I guess you can put 3 heads in with no accessories but I use it for 2 heads and extra accessories like spare batteries. Love the fact that it comes with a shoulder strap so you can free up your hands to carry other things,, use it with the B1's

Profoto Quality - Exactly what I needed

I own the Profoto D1 1000 kit with the heads, stands, and umbrellas nicely packaged in the included case. It's a system that works very well together, but, in my opinion, the D1 system case does not protect the gear enough to check as baggage at the airport. The Profoto Double Case works perfectly for this - I simply pull the D1 heads out of the D1 kit case, put them into the Double Case and carry it on the plane with me. There's even some room left over for a few other carry-on items. The case itself is of very high quality, padded, rugged, with a durable zipper. I'd definitely recommend to D1, B1 users, and it will also carry many other heads as well.

Works for my Profoto Compact 600's

-The design has changed since the photo tagged with this listing (as of 27 nov 2010) - (The one I got looks a little classier in my opinion) I also have the case for the AcuteB which appears very similar to the picture listed. The newer design of this d1 case that I received is much more robust than that, with semi-rigid side walls. Both of my compact 600's lay in the case horizontally, one on top of the other with just enough room for the cords. No room for reflectors. It would not be long enough to fit a compact 1200. The case is reasonably good protection for car transport. I don't think it would be enough protection for checked airline baggage. OK for carry on though.

Perfect case for Profoto Mono lights

This case fits two monolights and 2 power cords perfectly and securely. As others have pointed out, there's no room for anything else. So I have my 4 monolights in two of these cases, then my B1 in a tenba CC17 car case, which also has enough room for my grids, 3 reflectors, and 2 speedings. Perfect combo for a 5 monolight set up.

Good but-

Like most Profoto item this case appears very well made. The but: it holds 2 Profoto monolights- little else. Most of us that use B1s or B1Xs have extra batteries, chargers, grids, filters and filter holders. Thers is VERY LITTLE room for any accessories.

this is my second identical case

I carry my lenses and small items in one bag. The second bag stores all my Elinchrome ELB400 location light. Easy to protect and keep it in the car or travel with it.

Great case

I bought this case for my Profoto AcuteB2 kit. The pack, head, charger and pocket wizards fit perfectly. Like other commenters, I wouldn't put the case in the baggage hold, it's not that heavy duty. But it would probably fit under the seat.

It will hold two D2.

Just wondering if you can fit 2 D1 heads and both power cords in the bag?
Asked by: Christophe
Yes Christophe you can fit both heads with power cords. There is very little padding so I also have the longer D-1 kit bag with firm foam travel protector for each head for traveling but I use the double case for run and gun assignments.

Can you fit two D1s with the reflectors in place? Thanks.
Asked by: William
Short The case is tight with just two lights. I use mine for one light, cords, and other small accessories. If you want to fit two D1's and reflectors you need a larger bag. I would go with an aftermarket bag that is good quality and the same size as the Profoto kit bag.

Will this fit 2 B1 heads and their batteries?
Asked by: Anonymous
Yes it will. Its made specifically for the B1 heads. I actually use it for two D1 heads and it has enough room for the cables. Should work perfectly for you.
